Hard to say. Marked as temporary closed in Maps. Went to check for any notice about it reopening and there was nothing. Looks pretty shut up. If they've shut down for a holiday without leaving any indication then it's on them really. There's a very faded notice in the window with opening times - picture included for what it's worth. Nice place for a coffee with on the lake. We did not try the restaurant but the place is lovely. Lovely place to sit and eat while admiring the of the lough. Great food and service. Ample portions. Eat there or take away. Wonderful place to be in the evening, have seen people go out for a long swim 🏊‍♀️ in the and peddle boating as well. There were several ducks and swans 🦢 going about their business, so serene and beautiful to watch. This places has kids play area to keep them engaged. And well maintained bathrooms and wash rooms for people right next to the lake. It was not too crowded for an Sunday summertime evening. Lovely food, great attention. Right next to the lake. Ribs were the highlight of a round of delicious food. Very reasonable prices. Great to the lake. Our 2 families docked here for lunch and a pint. Kids played outside in playground. Lovely food (no Hophouse 13 though !! Aghh) and great location. Staff were very and helpful. Definitely be back again. Great staff, lovely views, simple tasty food Lovely food and great prices. Its a very busy place with a good line of drinks and food. The staff is very courteous. Lovely location for some food after exploring around. Service was very good and staff. There was live music yesterday which was an added bonus!! The burger was so nice. Lovely area to sit outside by the water. I seen it was also dog when I was there which is a nice little bonus. Excellent - I mean the food, service and everything else! We went for dinner yesterday evening and reserved the bay window with a beautiful of the lake. Food was delicious - I had the chefs catch of the day which was cod (so fresh!) with garlic potatoes and vegetables. There was a delicious sauce included on the side. 10/10. My partner had the ceasar salad as a main and again this was delicious. It came with a portion of chips which were a generous portion but also extremely tasty with a nice seasoning. Brown bread included with the salad and it was possibly the nicest brown bread I've had in a long time! 5* all round and we will be returning to try out the highly recommended steaks and ice-cream. The lough ree inn is an amazing spot , wether your having drinks with friends , a meal with the family , or your on the way down the river , it doesn't matter because the lough ree inn is the exact place for you , the staff here are very kind and obliging and the food and service is to the highest standards . Amazing food, staff go above and beyond, very and welcoming environment, camper friendly.
