Visited on the 11th May 2025, not a good spot. Multiple men sitting around drinking, nothing open and the area was very dirty. Nem valami nagy. Parkolót alig találni. Nice beach, we visited a gloomy day so I suspect it can be packed, in other words overcrowded as it's not that big. The food was much less of quality then that of neighbouring beaches and also selection was more or less limited to simple fastfood. Crowded, not too many shaded areas, water is dirty and a bit discusting, the water from the showerhead is dripping, you can’t wash yourself from the fish smell, toilets very outdated and smelly, no papers, eating options very limited and expensive. Overall noisy because the train and motorway is just meters from the beach. Well positioned strand with lifeguard and different aktivities inclusive childrens pool for little peopel. Maintainence is questionable specially uncut grass. Disadvantage for the long that pay entrance possible at one end only. Luckily there is car park also. Enough parking every day while 2 weeks. The area is so beautiful. Restaurant , toilet,shopping for swimming supplies. After 6 pm it's free to get in the "strand",/beach Tiszta rendezett hely. Every year they invest to make the more attractive (food, drinks, children, family, swimming, sports, ...) 18:00 után zár, így ez után ingyen be lehet menni. Since I am a local person nearby from Kővágóörs, I just ride down from the hill of Fülöp tó enjoy the water of Balaton. Nice for little children, even there are some place for toddlers to play and enter to the lake. Although, in the büfé the prices are unreseanably high. A nice place with a lesser crowd. It's a nice place with a huge variety of foods, all hungarian though. The drinks are pricey, but the food is delicious and warm. The icecream here is amazing too. The water is good, but is filled with and eggs which I found out later on into the trip. The tickets are cheap and you can go in free after 6pm which is good. I'd recommend. HOWEVER. The showers are so disgusting and haven't been cleaned. The toilets are in terrible condition. The football/volleyball area is broken completely. Overall, I just think it needs some repairs and Intense cleaning.
