I have been going to the Szigliget ice shop for quite a long time, about 5 years to be exact. Every time has been a delight, I have gotten the sorbets, the caramel, the vanilla, and even some chocolate. I would strongly recommend the melon sorbet, it's fresh, icy, and really yummy. The chocolates are great and it feels like you're eating actual chocolate that just melts in your mouth. The mango sorbet is quite thick but tastes exactly what a mango would. The castle on the hill is also a really cool place to visit! If I could give them an extra star I would! As per usual though they are super busy and service is the normal Hungarian pleasure lol amazing ice cream, gluten-free scones :) A very nice place to relax after a walk in the castle. A lovely banana flavour, caramelised in my opinion, and of course the free pump of chocolate in the cone complimented it well. My mom had the passion fruit, cottage cheese and almond ice that she also rated a 10/10. We spoke to a local who was also getting their daily ice fix and he said that his favourite flavours are the olive, the toasted butter, and the salted pumpkin seed, which sound so so good, and very unique.
