Went and played this par 3 with a couple of pals on a very wet saturday! Difficult to score this little course because the weather did it no favours! Longest holes around 150yds and a couple of 70/80 yds holes so nothing bigger than a 7 iron needed! The greens were a bit scabby but its a pay and play so to be expected! Tricky little greens you dont want to miss as the course is built on a hillside and plenty of very thick rough and trees! Also stick to the paths where you can as in the wet it is very very slippery! We had five slips and falls and muddy wets! Over all it was very enjoyable and look forward to playing again!( in the dry) Nice club house and very value food! Decent pint of guiness as well!👏 I would certainly recomend a few hours on this course! It's a nice club but be prepared for elevation changes. Its well maintained, even the 18 hole pitch and put, but its very hilly. The biggest issue is working out where the green is when you tee-off as the markers are not always clear. Otherwise its a solid course in condition with a range, nice little shop and a bar. venue for weddings. We visited as a guest for a wedding, the location was good. The driving is very and we played a few rounds. There is so food at the driving range. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, well maintained driving with trackman facilities. Excellent fun with family and friends, they also offer pro lessons par 3 fun And I beat simon and got a birdie so winner winner chicken dinner 🐔 Would return. Superb place to take the family and enjoy hitting a few balls. We had our own clubs but did notice some for sale by the desk. We were first timers but still managed to get off a number of shots. Options for food and drink. 2 courses, the par 3 course is harder than you think, facilities are excellent. Friendly in the pro shop and bar and a selection food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend Course was in condition! After the rain we had the previous 36 hours before we played, only one green had a tiny puddle on it and I only saw 2 bunkers that had standing water. course for winter golf. We held our wedding reception at Wycombe Heights and the staff, especially Torrie and Sophie were exceptional and played a key part in making our day flow perfectly & a celebration to remember. All the bar and Sophie were there on the day and they went above and beyond in making sure we were happy and were on schedule with the photos, food, speeches, first dance etc. I can’t thank you all enough. They set out the venue exactly how I had visioned, and it looked beautiful. We had the buffet food and it was delicious with plenty to go round our guests! We also had our couple photos on the course and were able to go on a buggy which made our day even more memorable! We are so so happy we chose Wycombe heights as our venue and we had so many compliments from our guests at how lovely it was there, we highly recommend & are so grateful to all who helped as part of it. I wish I had more photos to give justice as to how beautiful the venue looked! Excellent - we held our Celebration of Life for our Mum and were extremely pleased. Toby had arranged everything exactly as we had requested and was in hand on the day "just in case". We would not hesitate to recommend the venue for a special occasion event. The room was a very size with lovely views and a pleasant airy feel. The food - buffet style finger food - was plentiful and attractively presented. Thanks to The Team who provided the private bar service unobtrusively and efficiently. Started my journey here on the Par 3 course, massively helped my short game and it’s still a nice challenge. Yet to play the full course but will soon. Club House and Pro Shop are with coffee and food. Trackman Range, Chipping area are and the Putting Green is super challenging. Challenging par 3 but in a way. Greens are a bit too fast and holes have a bit of a lip. Otherwise driving and 5 star cafe. We came for a society weekend and had a lovely time! The Marshall we met on the first day was really helpful and encouraging. The bar staff, service and the guys at the pro shop were great, we really felt looked after. And I appreciate the small details which were made for us such as flowers on our table and a fresh sign everyday. The driving is also modern and beginner friendly the manager (Leah) is amazing- always encouraging and has made the club a much more positive and welcoming place. Gives the opportunity and confidence to share ideas. Would recommend to friends We had our wedding at Wycombe Heights on 06.08.24, firstly we just want to say how amazing the team was from Torrie helping organise the wedding, the bar staff, Paige and lastly Sophie being by my side the whole day. The set up was beautiful and the food was delicious, Thank you all for helping make our day so special x I initially joined the Pathway to introduction course with a friend, and we really enjoyed the first session. Unfortunately, everything that followed was a frustrating experience. For the next three weeks, I had to repeatedly chase by phone and email to find out when the next would begin. Most of these attempts went unanswered, or I was told someone would get back to me, sometimes even that the program was no longer running. It seemed that no one really knew what was happening. When the finally started, they were excellent, and the mentoring itself was superb. However, once those ended, I was back to making countless calls to arrange the course sessions, at least twenty in total. Despite multiple reassurances that we would receive all four included in the package, my gift voucher was refused when I tried to pay. , Duncan acknowledged this was a mistake and that the person I’d spoken to had been misinformed. It was eventually corrected, but only after more chasing on my part. Two weeks into the course section, we turned up for what should have been week three, only to find the clubhouse closing early and no record of our future lessons apparently the Pathway had “finished.” Mark tried to make things right by offering a discounted session and asked us to call the next day, which we did, but he was then on unexpected leave and no one else knew anything about it. Every further attempt to speak with someone or make a booking just led to confusion, being dismissed, or given conflicting information. To make matters worse, the 3-par course was in dreadful condition at the time, with large patches missing from the greens. We did receive our free one-month membership, but since the green was closed on the day we’d scheduled our coaching session, that part couldn’t happen anyway. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganised, stressful, and disheartening. Instead of encouraging us into golf, it almost completely put us off. The we did manage to have were great, and Mark is a talented coach but Wycombe Heights really needs to sort out the rest of the customer experience. Update After Complaint Following my complaint, Duncan arranged a session to make up for what we had missed. He was excellent he asked thoughtful questions about the service we had received and reassured us that our feedback had been taken seriously and discussed with the team. The 3-par course is also now in noticeably better condition than before, which is to see. Although I don’t want to remove my original review, as it accurately reflects what happened, I do want to update it to acknowledge the positive follow-up. Both Mark and Duncan delivered sessions, and thanks to their efforts, we are now continuing to play.
