Very pleasant canal side location. With a range of sub gastropub food at sub gastro pub prices, so quite reasonable. The staff are friendly and efficient. It is under new ownership but it has not changed much for now . Popped in for Saturday lunch whilst on a walk along the canal. They were busy but found us a table for 2. selection of beers, excellent food with gluten free menu. Reasonable prices with friendly staff. A really nice place by 3 locks, funny that, but not quite as nice as another pub in the same chain. Staff very lovely and quick efficient service. Had a lamb flatbread and I had a chicken dish, both well presented food, I had the (small) fish and chips and it was super fresh and crisp. The mushy peas were also really tasty, and tartar sauce was truly home made...all delish! Also super friendly clientele, and fun watching the barges navigate thru the, errr, three locks!!! Here was wonderful Sunday roast. Located next to the road and canal. Have seat inside and outside sitting. Food and service was very impressive. We will come back again. Food was with nice portions sizes. However the main menu and some things on the lunch menu we ordered from looked very expensive ! Staff were though and the setting absolutely lovely. Plenty of parking and we would recommend. Lovely fire. Beautiful building. We had a wonderful lunch at The Three Locks. The food was exactly what you'd hope for from a classic English pub; hearty, delicious, and well prepared. The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was and the location by the water, near the lock, was just perfect. I couldn't recommend this place enough! A solid visit to The Three Locks. The beer selection was excellent, well kept and clearly cared for, which always sets the tone for a pub experience. I went for a burger and it was nicely done, tasty, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a decent pint. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it a spot to unwind rather than rush through a meal. It does not try to be overly fancy, but it delivers well on the essentials. Overall, a reliable pub with beer and food, definitely worth stopping by, even if it just misses that extra touch that would make it a full five stars. Takeaway: dependable, enjoyable, and easy to recommend for beer and a proper pub meal. I went to a taproom in Camden, but not that one. Instead I opted for the independent @3locksbeer and I wasn't disappointed. As many taprooms are, this one is located in a railway arch. At the heart of the bustle of Camden, it's a place to stop and relax with a beer. I was there on a rainy bank holiday day so plenty of folk were taking shelter - tourists and locals alike. Some were having a game of Settlers, others taking a break from seeing the sights with their children. There was even someone else making social media content. With upstairs, downstairs and outdoor seating you can choose your position to survey either the world going by or the goings on in the brewery itself. I opted for upstairs where a range of different seating types gave me the opportunity to get my laptop out to finish off preparing a presentation. A decent range of beers and styles is on offer, all from the brewery itself. I opted for their pale ale - a citrus one with a hint of orange peel bitterness - and the excellent Hefeweizen which has all those banana esters you look for in the style. And if you've got room in your bag, there's a range of cans and merch to buy and takeaway with you. Next time you're in Camden, or close by, take a detour down Water Lane and grab a beer or two - you won't regret it. 3 Locks Brewing Company taproom is open every day of the week too, so there's no excuse really! And remember: support local! support indy! Visited for Sunday Roast on Father’s Day and the Porchetta was insane! Best cauliflower cheese I have ever tasted in a pub! . Service was a bit slow on this occasion, but it was SO busy and a full house, so not surprising. Portion sizes of porchetta itself were varied, but incredibly tasty. We will be back.x We booked the table in advance, which was super easy to do. The staff were super friendly and knew the menu very well, gave some recommendations. The food was delicious! I had the roast pork which was really they did forget to bring out the crackling (which I think they did on purpose as they did the same with another table near us lol) I did also have the stuffing which was some of the best I have ever eaten. Will definitely come again :) We came for Sunday lunch today - I had roast beef, other family had the pork and the chicken. It was WONDERFUL, also had cauliflower cheese side. The best Sunday Roast that I have had for about a decade. I am looking forward to coming back again, absolutely loved it. Don’t expect to rush, this is proper Sunday lunch as it should be, leisurely and plenty of time to chat. Always been a favourite local pub or ours both for food & setting. Popped by just for a drink at the water’s edge as we were driving past and it was such a lovely sunny day. Shame the wonderful location sadly wasn’t matched by the attitude of the rude and offhand barman working there today though :( Just enjoyed an excellent meal here with family. We were looking for a pub that did food without being too pretentious. This had a relaxed and welcoming atnosphere and lovely staff that were very attentive. The food was excellent - wide choice with the usual favourites as well as some dishes that you wouldn’t normally find on a pub menu. The slow braised ox cheek fell apart on the knife and the stuffed porchetta was the best we’ve tastes outside of Italy. Will definitely come back - thank you for a lovely evening.
