Good for a at sunset or a run in the morning. You can admire the Castle from outside and enjoy the seaside. It features a castle remaining from Romanian times, seaside with few beaches, and walkway with restaurants. The castle aka as Tenha Tepe is nice, especially if you love history and nature, altough it is not really well maintained, the walking area is okay, usually not crowded even in summer, and food quality is also okay. In general, okay weekend gateway place with nothing special. It has a general empty feeling, even in summer as summer apartments are not occupied in big part. Schöne Strandpromenade Amazing, lovely for walks, not too big, probably 2,3 km/ half an hour walk, lots of places to eat and two beaches. One of the most beautiful seaside promenades on the Balkans! The Balchik Promenade is the place we enjoyed the most in Balchik. It is so beautiful and so clean! All the looked amazing and the statues from the promenade were interesting. I liked that there were many benches and you could have a rest when you wanted. The view from the promenade is amazing because you can see the sea as well as the Balchik hills and cliffs. the tourist traps are absolutely CRAZY over there, but the place itself is nice, so its worth a visit (PS: dont use anything except leva when buying, it is for your own good) This is probably the best seaside promenade in Bulgaria - wide, well kept, not too busy, with lots of cozy and bars on one side, thankfully no cheap tin shops for t-shirts and flip flops, and a few exquisite hotels on the other side. I recommend the restaurant White house due to its good food and prices. You can get ice cream anywhere on a great price. I don't recomment the nearest convenience stores, prices are too high. about 150m to te second line to get normal price products. The library (located nearby the restaurant Salt & Pepper) walking towards The Palace) is an A-W-E-S-O-M-E idea!!! There are books in Bulgarian, Rusian and English language. Great! Keep on!!!
