We went on a cruise to Jelsa and Bol, staff were very rude and unhelpful during the food service.Food was tasty and ok.During the cruise Dj-Capitan played music from different countries from which there were guests on the ship and it was disastrous. We were very satisfied with the program; it was definitely worth the value for money. The service on the deck was excellent, and the serving of coffee, pálinka, and drinks was great. The lunch service for more than 200 people went very smoothly and without any issues. We were very satisfied with everything. Perhaps the only slight disappointment was that during the disembarkation at the second location in the harbor, we could have received a bit more information on how to get to the beach. Overall, I rate the service performance highly. On a 5-point scale, I would rate it 4.5 to 4.7. Very tasty fresh tuna and dorado! Everything is served with kind of pasta Bolognese and cabbage salad with a loaf of white bread. For 3 dishes we’ve spend approximately €30. The place is working from 7:30pm 1 star minus for the queue and extremely loud music If you want to eat at a real boat this is a nice place for you. I was walking along the promenade when I stopped by this gentleman to share a few constructive suggestions. It was meant as a casual conversation, and I approached him in a very friendly manner. However, he began insulting both me and my mother. At first, he dismissed our remarks as “STUPID.” Shortly after, he escalated by calling us “STUPID” directly and further insulting us on a national basis because we are Bosnian. When I tried to take a look at the folder he was carrying with pictures of his tours, he suddenly started shouting at me and even THREATENING me. At that point, I became frightened and considered calling the police. He then stopped, turned his back, and walked away. I was deeply shocked by how aggressive he became, even though I had not made any negative remarks—just a casual and friendly comment in passing. It is perfect if you want to enjoy delicious sea food with dalmatian atmosphere. New location is good, but previous location was in the middle of riva and with that even greater atmosphere. But Makarski jadran is Makarski jadran - every year for 10+ years I am ejoying their services (food and atmosphere). My husband tried the seabream (orada) — €15 — and the grilled squid. With your meal, you get bread, spaghetti, and cabbage salad included. First, you place your order and pay. Then you can choose where you want to sit — you can always go upstairs to the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of Makarska harbor. After that, a waiter will come by so you can order drinks. We had 2 dcl of white wine and a Coke, which cost €4 in total. The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. Don’t miss this amazing and unique opportunity to enjoy a meal on a ship!
