Voor de Prümerburg is een soort woonpark maar geen parkeerplaatsen. Maar van afstand zag het er al indrukwekkend uit zo bovenop. Hele leuke kronkelweg weer naar beneden naar het dorpje. Cool kasteel in bos Hard to find access, it's on the left side of the road, through a residential home! Loved these ruins. Great view of the town below. Awesome rock formations. From these ruins you can go to the Irrel Wasserfälle. It says about 2k but I felt like it took way longer. We parked next to a rapeseed field and walked through a small village till we got to a sign saying Prümerburg. Take the first street on your left. If I can figure out how, I'll add GPS coordinates. 49.869036,6.445405 this is where we parked. 49.871431,6.443402 this is the start of the trail. Easy to miss. It's a small grassy path. If you go to the falls and back up to Prümerburg there is a small shortcut to get you back to the parking spot. When you see the statue of the saint keep right. It'll take you up to the main road which you can walk along. It's not a very high traffic but be aware there's no official path. You are literally walking alongside the road for maybe 30meters or less. Schöner Wanderweg zur Burgruine. Kleine niedliche Burg 🏰 😉 Mooi oud gebouw, was even zoeken hoe we er konden komen. Mooi uitzicht! Gave kleine ruïne, prachtig uitzicht, 0,4km lopen vanaf waar we parkeerden, ietwat lastig om een parkeerplek te vinden. Nice old building with a cellar and a tower which you can visit. Not too much too see, but interesting because it is quite old. The view from the prumerburg is nice as well. Wir mussten den Weg zur Burgruine erst mal finden. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten waren wir dann aber angenehm vom Parkplatz über den Waldweg innerhalb von 15 Minuten angekommen. Mit Kinderwagen ist es jedoch ziemlich holprig. Die Ruine war faszinierend, allein wegen dem Aufbau und dem Sandstein. Der Ausblick von ganz oben unbeschreiblich. Ein Besuch allemal wert. Wir würden wieder hin fahren, bzw laufen. Top top top Der spazierweg dort hin war sehr schön, für kleine kinder etwas "gefährlich" es geht manchmal seitlich sehr steil nach unten. Festes schuhwerk ist ratsam und taschenlampen auch! Da es im turm und unter der burg dunkel ist. Toller ausblick von oben! Die Burg ist eine Besichtigung wert. Schöne Aussicht, saubere Anlage. Mittlerweile steht dort auch ein großer Tisch mit Stühlen um sich zu stärken.
