Nice quiet within reasonable walking distance of Clacton. Very dirty, sunset stroll at low tide. Lots of rubbish left behind and many derelict houses around . One of the most unique beaches in the whole world. It’s shape. Jaywick was always a favourite, avoid the the fire damaged sheds and delapidation of homes the sands good Really nice and peaceful beach, easy to park, with a nice kiosk with friendly folk. And of coasre local fish and chips a must. I think best in Essex clean plenty of sand, fishing views and plenty of space, pet friendly! But please take your rubbish off the and put in the bins on the front! Had a lovely day on the beach....very quiet and clean ...Will definitely come back in the summer ☀️ and definitely recommend the beaches in this area... What a gem! Beautiful sandy beach, almost completely empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Kids loved it and we could relax cause there was no risk they'll get lost in the crowd ;) there is a bar just on the beach. The only issue is lack of toilets. Fabulous but no toilets. Lovely beaches, most people turn there noses up at this place but I have a caravan in nearby Seawick Holiday Park and prefer to come down to this instead of going to Clacton that can be packed in the summer Amazing We were in the area for the weekend and wanted to go for a walk. Realising we couldn’t walk the dog on Clacton we came to Jaywick, knowing nothing about it. It seems people like to knock the town as it’s very poor, but it’s worth a visit for the gorgeous, long, sandy - and very clean - beach. We also had a lovely lunch at the Sunspot. Worth a visit. Loved the people and the place.. Stunning beach. Mostly sandy, lots of areas that are for exploring including the sand dunes. There is a path that takes you round the coast towards Clacton. Well worth a visit. Sunspot has opened recently with lots of refreshments options at one end of the - recommend the Sunspot Cafe. Beach Bar 82 at the other end has lots of food options too. Beautiful for a day out with children there's a bar and many pubs nearby Cool beach. Not that busy enjoyed the atmosphere. There's a car park which is free after 6. I spend a lot of time on this amazing areas for kyaking swimming crabbing fun for all Beautiful and quiet with an even more magnificent town. Beautiful clean sandy beach. Quiet and tranquil beach! Often have parts of the to yourself which is great, sea is calm Love it here, golden sandy beaches with a few pebbles and shells for the kids to explore. Lots of places to eat lunch or breakfast. 3 local shops plus a bar for ice creams and toys. 2 amusement arcades and 2 pubs ! Lots of investment happening in the local area too which is nice to see. Nice walk along the seawall into clacton and then further along into Walton and frinton. Lovely place for family holiday on nice quiet beaches. my child has autism and loved this xxx Nothing memorable, but acceptable.
