Very lovely place! You can go for a walk, picnic, push bike ride or just enjoy the nature. They have all other the place car parks, near the center you can find kids zone, coffee shop. Lovely area to walk, fresh and crisp February afternoon. Would definitely recommend and return again. sports, picnic areas, and eight mile round the lake/reservoir walk, cafes and camping sites. Beautiful and peaceful at this time of year although I’m sure it will be busy and very popular in the summer. Lovely walking path round the water. Cafe staff was warm and welcoming. Delicious flapjacks. Not great tea. Bike ride to Alton went great. Roads leading there had plenty of markings to let alert drivers of cyclists. Safe for non motorised sports. All sorts of boats, kayaks, row boats and paddle boards for hire. Nice pleasant around reservoir. Plenty of wild life. Friendly cafe on site. I will definitely be returning at the next opportunity! We visited both restaurants and we did some paddle boarding had a great time will be visiting again Beautiful place for a walk. Lots of activities - mini golf, sports, a playground, picnic tables. Everything looks well maintained, and the highland cows are adorable!
