Cafe needs more selection Had to wait for the scones to be ready. However, the large fresh scones with a large dollop of cream with jam and real butter were were worth waiting for. Nice view of the golf club from the cafe/bar. Staff are friendly. Would go back. Only played the front nine but enjoyed it. Longish par 4s made for a challenge... greens in great condition, very true. I really enjoyed this parkland course. Fabulous greens on the day I was there, true and challenging. The fairways were in good condition with some casual water after a particularly wet few weeks. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. I couldn’t fault it. Was a distance member of this club and loved playing here. Kick forward 15 years and the place is looking and playing amazing and the greens are the fastest I've played on. Beautiful mature course and a credit to the owners. This is a gem! Some really stand out holes. A few of the greens were marked up but it didn't really take away from the experience, highly recommend. Played in April Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our wedding on your gorgeous course last September. All the staff and members were so accommodating and welcoming to us in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Thank you to Brian and the committee members for allowing us to run with the idea and create what was only be described as a beautiful wedding venue! Thank you also to Ken and his team in the club house who were wonderful. The service was impeccable! What a great course. Golfed a round here with rented clubs and had a great time. Silly me, I left some $$ in the golf bag. Came back in the evening to see if it was still there. Brian helped get a key to unlock the storage room and got my $$ back. Your kindness will not be forgotten. I will tell this story every time I golf back in Canada. 🙏 Beautiful parkland golf course, in a very tranquil location. Very enjoyable mix of holes and easy walk. Probably the best golf course in the region.
