Kids loved the pizza and onion and rings which they don't usually and were more like tempura. A family group went for a meal here this lunchtime and it was excellent. Really excellent. Great ambiance, great - both efficient and friendly - and great food. From starters to desserts we were repeatedly commenting positively on the food. And I personally have to say the Apple Bakewell and accompaniments left nothing to be desired. Thanks, we will be back. So glad that former Pepperstack is back! Different staff but same and atmosphere, food delicious as it was 2 years ago. Chowder is the best! Visited the restaurant on Friday 12th April 2024. Went for a pint on Saturday 13th April at around 920pm. Quality food over priced in my opinion,but this is a prime location . I cannot criticise the excellent service. Just avoid the bar I went in for a couple oglf pints the night after my meal and nobody spoke with me despite my efforts. Maybe because I'm Scottish lol. Been living and working in Ireland for close on 24yrs and never witnessed such an atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a flawless dining experience. The highlight, without question, was the food. I ordered the seafood chowder and can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had. Creamy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely packed with fresh fish and shellfish. Every spoonful was rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The rest of the looked just as tempting! Service was another standout. Our server was fantastic—chatty, charismatic, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They struck the perfect balance between attentive and laid-back. Rosie’s nails the details and delivers. We will absolutely be back. Was very lucky to get a table at short notice this evening. Just gorgeous food, great menu, good, & value. Starter mixed spice seafood bag just gorgeous. Followed by mains, salmons & fish/chips. Highly recommend but safer to book We had my mom's 60th in Rosies a group of 30-40 of us. We had a set with a great range of dishes to suit everyone. Food was absolutely divine service, couldn't of been better working with such a large loud bunch 🤣couldn't of had a better experience. What a fantastic restaurant and pub..I've had dinner and drinks at least twice a week since mid may until today... end of August .(working and staying close by for work monday to friday.)
