Just took a break while motorbiking thru Belgium and even though it was autumn, the beach and the bar was open for business. Grey and chilly weather... No bikinis appeared! Good beach bar, service could use some optimisation to get served faster. Nice food, big portions The experience was OK until it turned very nasty. We paid for 3 sunbeds (not possible to pay for half a day or per hour) together with another family of friends. My wife paid and she was not given a receipt. We did not ask for one because we had had a good experience with a nice Albanian employee the day before. At some point we left and our friends stayed on the sunbeds. The employees came and asked for a new pay. Our friends told them that we had paid for the whole day. Then the employees brought in the police. Our friends were forced to leave. So nice atmosphere (not their merit mostly), good service from a couple of employees and appalling bussiness practices. If this does not deserve one star, I don't know what does. Great atmosphere, great service, awesome people, and amazing snacks. Nice vibes and friendly service. Self-service and even as a customer you have to pay for the toilet. Prices are okay, but high enough to cover better service and free customer toilets ;) Would recommend going to one of the many neighbouring ones. The food salade was absolutely disgusting and expensive, however the smoothies are okay, the food is cheap quality and expensive, but I must say that the atmosphere is nice and relaxing for a family or even alone.
