We were very pleased with our visit to the zoo - lot of animals, nice walking paths (sometimes quite steep), more than enough toilets and bars with drinks and snacks. Petting zoo was sadly not open, which was the part we were most excited about. 😔 Zoo ticket includes castle and its gardens - very beautiful to see! You can find anything from lions to cheetahs and even arctic wolves here. The entrance fee is pretty fair, considering the high quality of the park. It pays off to wear good shoes. Some of the paths are a bit rugged and some slopes are steep. It might be difficult for people in wheelchairs to get everywhere, but it seems like people still manage regardless. The animal is adjacent to a castle, which can also be viewed. Some parts of the provide beautiful, scenic views over the lush landscape. I highly recommend visiting during summer, while everything is green. Walking the whole round tour of the almost feels a bit like hiking then.
