Superb Extraordinary area with great views over the Rodnei mountains and a nice place for just a short stop or a relaxing weekend. In the winter in the area is a ski slope and in the summer is the place to start explore the mountains. After a long climb up to mountain pass the monastery suddenly appears around the corner. It sits high on the mountains and looks over both valleys either side of the Prislop pass. The architecture is stunning. The inside is still under construction but already shows that this monastery will be unique in its own. The road is under construction so it currently is a demanding drive, but this should not stop you. O oază de liniște,simți că atingi cerul cu mâna!
