When we got there, the lady that had to give the your was busy with another group, so my mum, dad, partner and myself just went and looked all around. Very beautiful house and interesting to see all the old tradition. My mum and dad left early so the lady gave us 2 the tour and didn't take payment for my parents because they didn't get the tour which i think was very nice of her. Lots of interesting facts I didn't know about1 Interesting nice museum about romanian peasant women. Very interesting and we had a great guided little tour (in romanian language) with the old lady taking care of this museum. Personally, I was impressed by the short story described by the guide. It's one small place with so much history on it. Absolutely spectacular! Must see if you are in the area, the guide tour was a delight! This is a great place. Small, but the stories from the guide make up for it and also the place has a great history. Totally worth it. Initially, when we documented which places to visit, we were thinking to skip this place, but along the way got a recommendation to visit it and since we were few km away, we did it and there were no regrets. It is easy to reach there, since it's on the main road. It's small, not too much time to spend here, but the guide present the museum as a story, with a very nice local accent. It's a pleasure to listen to her (probably the presentation is only in Romanian language). We found information from her about some traditional objects or traditions which we seen in other places in this part of the country, but which we could not initially understand the purpose or the meaning. A very good experience and a good piece of Romanian history. Also if you hear lady Maria it you don’t eant to leave anymore…. It’s a pleasure to listen! Strongly recommend if you visit Maramures Country in Romania !!! Not quite what i was hoping. Still if you are near it, you can stop to take a look. It will take 5 minutes to see it. Loved visiting this museum on a rainy October day. The tour guide was great as well - Romanian language only. The museum is small but it is well worth the stop. Super fain!
