No one on place..not really cleaned..not enough toilets. the shower is dark and the door dont close...not possible to buy something for breakfast..the young girl showing up was friendly..its perfect for Camping cars.. But..the good thing is .there is silence..a peaceful place..you can go swim nearby in a River..so a second chance next time Warm showers, WiFi, fishing are all free. Very pleasant management, tidy campground, close to Stiklestad church (St. Olaf's death site). Nice and calm place to stay. I had without wc and shower. There is enough space for 3 persons. New owners, forget all the previous bad reviews. I stayed here on my way from Trondheim to Sweden on the Olav Pilgrim Trail. To my surprise it was the most affordable camping so far 5 weeks cycling into Norway. On top of that it's very quiet as it's far enough from the highway, has free showers, and they sell delicious homemade applejuice which was the best I ever tasted (sweet & sour at the same time). The new owners are also very friendly and won't hesitate to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended. Friendly owners, were really nice to us. Had a nice little stay in a wooden Cabin. Can absolutely recommend it. The three kilometers from Stiklestadt are worth it. Great camping! Forget about the older reviews, the camping has been taken over a year back or so. Very friendly people! I recommend the place as well to pilgrims who are just looking for a night over! Or to take a rest after crossing the boarder, which is what we did 😊. Affordable tent spots and cabins with all the basic necessities! Booked a a few hours in advance using the online system, arrived, checked in and noticed at the that the key-locker was empty and the occupied. The only available other for 4 was an old without bathroom, the 2 bathrooms on the camping itself (combined toilet+douche) were old. The boy at the reception tried to help but he was further sold out.
