The worst granita of all my life, I got a granita with 2 flavors but I couldn’t recognize any of it, it was without taste at all, the brioche was not fresh, was an industrial product, paid 5 euro for each but really really really a SHAME! We were at the lunch time so the kitchen was closed, but there were lot of small pizzas, sandwiches and sweets Friendly staff :) We were hungry and we stopped there randomly. Turned out the lasagna was delicious. The staff was really nice and friendly to the two English speaking tourist we were. Service was impeccable Went here for breakfast, everything was very delicious! Absolutely recommend this place and would definitely come back. Everything we bought is very delicious and looks beautiful. The prices are good and inexpensive. Very kind employees, i definitely recommend. We only got a couple of pastries to take away but everything was delicious and beautifully packaged. This cafe we found on our last day in Sicily, it’s a shame we didn’t find it earlier because the baked goods were amazing. Great coffee, great pastries and very nice granita!! Lovely outdoor seating and was definitely busy for a reason. We ended up ordering 2 times because we wanted to try more as it was so tasty. I’d recommend their strawberry granita and savoury croissants and to be honest anything else they sell there is worth a try. They also had staff who could speak English which were very accommodating and everything was so affordable. Everything is well organised. The waiters are courteous and the service is recommendable. The food was AMAZING! Fresh and tasty. May have been our best meal in Italy. And someone took the time to help us given that we only spoke english. Malta benne. So helpful and nice! We didn’t speak Italian and a waiter helped us figure out the menu and helped us order. We got paninis and they were so so good! The places had so many good looking pastries and they had outside seating too! Very good place and special mention for the best waiter Aymen !!! Il locale è molto accogliente , ma se per un semplice gin tonic una persona debba pagare 15 euro invece di 6 max 8 euro rispetto a qualsiasi altro bar, vi dico tenetevi voi la bellezza del locale che io giro alla larga. After visits in plenty bars, restaurants, bakery etc around Trapani during my holiday I came back 3 times only in one place: Catania 88. Why? To taste local products, to meet professional personel which explained how is made every dish from my dinner, to see the best quality of food in Trapani, to see people who cooking because love this...and many more. I tried sandwiches, foccacias/pizzas for couple €, I tested drinks and, with wife, we had two amazing dinners which contained, in total, 15 dishes from menu! Every single one was amazing! On our last night we couldn't decide which dessert to chose so we asked waiter 'please chose for us two desserts which are not canollo as we tried this already'. This guy was amazing😍 He couldn't decide too so he bring to our table a few different cakes and cookies, explained how they're made how to eat them etc- this is perfect customer service on the micheline star level! Also wine suggested by this waiter was perfect which only confirmed his professionalism. Thank you Davide, Alessandro and...sorry, I forgot your name our best waiter. You all make this place special and, as your customer, I felt like a prince when you served each next plate for us. If anybody want to feel how Trapani taste Catania 88 is for you: the best swordfish (pesce spada), tuna, antricot, pastas, desserts, carpaccios, ravioli (that was food-porn for me, taste of the sea in each piece)...and many more!
