Waterfall “Kotlite”

Completely dry at time of visit. In order to see the one should go there in early spring. To reach the place go to the Bukorovski Monastery and then follow a dirt road to the waterfall. Beautiful place. Steep downhill path.To see full-size you have to take the path to the right. It’s a nice little hidden between rocks. Very easy to get to, just a short stroll from the nearby monastery. A nice place to visit and easily accessible. Unfortunately, the river Dracul that flows through Kotlite dries in the Summer so there are no waterfalls when it’s hot. Best time to visit would be Spring when the snow in the mountains melts and in the Autumn when there are more rains. Visited on a dry period, so the waterfalls were dried out and couldn't see the full beauty of nature there, but overall the place is amazingly calm and serene. I would definitely try to visit again when there is more rain. I would suggest it for a quick walking tour or an outing with kids, but be careful, as there are some steep places there and one could fall easily. Няма какво да се види. But worth the short walk. There is no anymore! Throughout most of the year there is no river flow so no as well. We visited the place in a month when the highest level was expected and yet it was completely dry. The path that leads to the place is abandoned and neither easy nor safe to follow. Just park at the Monastery and make sure you see it from both up and down.
