There are some picnic tables and some housing-like structures for picnicking and leaving your things. It does get very crowded, but you still have a place to throw a Frisbee, play ball or badminton. Excellent location, about two hours from Bucharest by car, great view of the lake and the dam. Easy access to parking. The area is set up for barbecues. Weaknesses: There are no trash cans which means you have to take your trash bag with you when you leave, and there are no toilets even though they appear on the town hall sign. Maybe those from the town hall will fix these minuses, but even so the location is superb. access with pets is allowed. It's a nice drive to escape the cold walls of a city. The road is not so good, potholes, debris, you can drive with 40 or 50 km / hour but make no mistake the road is very dangerous because of the people that drive like mad just to get ahead of you. The place is quiet if you arrive there at 9:30 or 10 AM but after 11 all hell breaks loose. People yelling, screaming, running around throwing trash everywhere, playing disturbing music from their own phones just to hear the music echo in the distance. My advice, avoid all the people as much as possible for a nice experience, be there at 10 max, if you want to have an hour of piece and quiet.
