Just across the street from the oldest standing Nordic stone church and at the crossroads of many a trails, Dalby Gästis is a place to visit. It was closed for a number of years, but it got wonderful new owners recently, who clearly took good care of it. The staff is most friendly, and the environment is very cozy. The äggakåka was OK, though I had better ones elsewhere. Fantastiskt mat med välutvecklade smaker. Framförallt den fasta menyn men även luncherna är mycket goda. Hunnit med 6-7 besök sedan de öppnade och mycket nöjd med alla rätter hittills. Utöver maten väldigt trevlig och serviceinriktad personal som gör det lilla extra för att anpassa och få en att känna sig välkommen. Även mycket vackra lokaler. Bad att få halva äggakakan med hem redan vid beställning och det var inga sura miner utan löses självklart och vänligt. A lovely little hotel with a lovely staff. We didn't manage to eat at the restaurant as we visited friends in the area, but the rooms were large and stylish. Superb breakfast and very comfortable beds. Very cozy decor and wonderful service. The äggkaka was great and the meatballs were just divine. Their home brew is also amazing. It was perfect service, food and experience. It is more expensive than a casual restaurant and it feels in everything. Well prepared and tasty food with excellent wine package.
