The food is as as on any road restaurant in the area. Owner likes to chat and is friendly. We visited this place on our way back from Island Vir. The menu offers a lot of meat dishes but also fish. Portions are incredible large, even the starters are already a full meal. Food was good, service very friendly. So if you happen to pass here on or from your way from Zadar, give it a try. Unfortunately we have been waiting more than half an hour and the result was almost cold french fries. The Spaghetti were a bit tasteless. The location is near the street so that you can expect a noisy surrounding. The big advantage is the very cheap prize. It is always a sign if a bunch of local cars are parked in front of restaurant. Locals don't visit expensive tourist traps. Based on just that I picked this bistro and was very choice. It is no way high end restaurant with sommelier, but modest and failrly modern local restaurant. Still, service is quite fast, food is very and fresh, plus prices lower that anywhere near or around Zadar. On the way to Zadar arguably best choice for decent on budget meal. Even worth to do a few kilometers detour. The food is great, the price is fair, the place where the locals are gathering!, unfortunately there's only one waitress and I feel bad for her because she's kinda doing everything all by herself. Don't forget to bring some cash because it's not possible to add tips to the bill if it is paid by card (Tip by cash only) Chicken was Cold and calamari tasted old. Waited 40minutes on the food at lunch time 11.00. Terrible one star is overrated. 20 quid for calamari and broe didnt even finish his dish... disaster. Very tasty meal for two persons.
