Nature Park Vrana Lake - ornithological reserve

This is the biggest lake in Croatia, and also a Nature Park (which means it's protected). There are only two entrances to the park; one on the northwest side, where you can take a walk on the wooden path. It's kid friendly, and also accessible by wheelchair. The other entrance is on the southeast side near the lučica Prosika. Make sure you bring your camera and/or binoculars because you can spot a lot of birds and amazing nature here! Fun to walk along the raised boardwalk but make sure you take binoculars if you want to see the birdies. It had more Little Egrets in one place than I've ever seen! The place is great! Don't forget your binoculars! The walking path is short, but it's nice. I put some old pictures from 2013. You can see that it's been updated, in 2013. you can walk freely and the walk was longer. Super part of the lake where we can see a lot of different birds we don't really know. It is a huge lake i have been just in one spot paid 5eu too much but ok suporting the hole thing give me pleasure it is a natural site to must see if you are near it Nice scenery with good information posts. It would be even better if the educational trail was circular. We were there in September, still I think it is very beautiful place. Especially fans of birds may find it interesting. The educational path is not long, it is something about 600m. Wooden path is stable, so do not worry :) dogs (on leash) are accepted. We were there out of the season so we didn’t have to buy any tickets. Beautiful views, bring the good camera and binoculars for bird watching. Suitable for strollers and young kids.
