Strolling around this beautiful and bustling on a summer's day, I could have almost imagined I was somewhere in the Mediterranean! The inner dock was full of pleasure boats at anchor, and the town rose up behind it in terraces on the wooded hills. Fantastic photo opportunities! There's a kiosk where you can buy dressed crab, oysters and other shellfish, and plenty of café tables where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by, while all around the you'll find restaurants, chippies, ice-cream parlours and souvenir shops. The cobbled slipway seemed to be a popular place for crabbing! The visitor information centre is close by, and behind it, a few bus stops that are departure points for Stagecoach buses going to places around Torbay. Great Marina with plenty of eating and drinking places Lovely with plenty of seating and cafe's and eating places. Great for a stroll and to chill. Some beautiful boats here. Torquay is a beautiful spot with a perfect mix of charm and coastal vibes. The views are absolutely stunning-especially at sunset when the water reflects all the colours of the sky. There's a lovely selection of cafes, bars, and restaurants around the harbour, making it ideal for a stroll followed by a drink or meal. The marina itself is well-maintained and full of character, with boats gently bobbing and a relaxing atmosphere all around. Whether you're into photography, boat watching, or just want to take in some sea air, it's a great place to visit. Perfect for couples, families, or solo wanderers. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! This was one of my very best places to visit to see a working lovely to see the little bridge that went up and down that you could cross every shop you went to near the were brilliant very helpful tourist information with brilliant I'm really loved it there but it was sad to see a couple of shops they come and nothing in it could you not put a little RNLI lifeboat shop in one of the empty shops if you did I would love to help run it if I leaved there Always a great experience here. Fellow yachtsmen and women are a friendly bunch, knowledgeable and generally considerate. Perfect central location in Torquay. Toilet and shower facilities could do with improvements though, both in cleanliness and functionality. Necessary repairs are oveyachtsmen Nice view and good places to sit by and eat! you can go crabbing which is a fun experience definitely for kids! Lovely little lots to see and do.
