Pretty good place to stay, mainly due to the proximity of the nature reserve. The camping experience was a so-so. The grass to put your tent up was very damp and although that might not come as a surprise, the place is just a few inches above the ground level of the water, it was very irritating that they had mown the lawn, but not removed the grass itself. So we had grass everywhere after a day; wet grass that is... Went there for Camp, we also went canoeing for 3 hours and went on a hike, Very cool place to connect with nature Had a really nice (electric) boat trip. Really quiet, really enjoyable. Nice location Good price for 6 people. Very Nice place! Clean as well. Staff is friendly too. The only thing that is preventing me for giving a 5* is for the wifi. The internet is really bad. Buy maybe that's a good thing ;) Our stay at De Kluft recreation center was very pleasant. The rooms and sanitary installations look a little old and we only had a shared bathroom, but everything was neat and clean. We had plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, TV, even a version of the Old Covenant (very much appreciated!), what do you want more for 73 € per night in the Netherlands?! Furthermore, the restaurant of the premises serves delicious food, all the waitresses were polite and very attentive, as usually in the Netherlands. The playground next to the terrace of the restaurant was also well equipped and clean. The location right at the Weerribben-Wieden is also very convenient. There are many outdoor activity options right on the spot, the place is managed in an excellent way! It was very comfortable and staff was very friendly. They made Pizza specially for us even at the closing time because we return a little bit late to hotel and didn’t have our dinner …. Beautiful and peaceful place for camping with all the arrangements and ease provided by De Kluft Very nice camping, with all facilities. We chose the camping because of the suroundings, and had some very nice kayak tours when we stayed there. We camped for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite the weather. Facilities were very clean, staff very friendly, multilingual, and helpful. It’s ideal for those who enjoy swimming and boating, may it be in an electric boat, canoe, kayak or SUP. The camping plot was very spacious and we could put up a dome to protect our boating and cycling stuff from the rain. We will be back for sure. 😊Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
