Nice event experience except for the toilet availability. You would just spend the entire break in line to use the restroom. Probably there is no easy solution for this, but it is a constraint for the public. And if you decide to get a drink, there is another long queue. So you have to pick your battles. Wonderful building, not too huge, not too small- very pleasant acoustics, good orchestra, was seeing incredible Faust on the 12th of Nov. Will remember for a long long time. Wonderful show too, not only music!!! The Bucharest National House is an absolute gem! The itself is stunning — elegant, historic, and full of charm. The performances are world-class, with talented artists, beautiful music, and breathtaking stage productions that capture the magic of and ballet. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, and every visit feels special. A must-see cultural landmark in Bucharest — perfect for anyone who loves the arts or simply wants an unforgettable evening! 🎭✨ Went to see Les Contes d’Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) and it was by far one of the most amazing experiences in this lifetime. Everyone involved in this play was magnificent. If you're in Bucharest, make sure to check out the opera. It's a must go to and the ticket prices are great. Buy your ticket online to skip any lines. The State in the center of the city. When you arrive by taxi men in uniform open the door and you step on a red carpet. Everyone is nice and helpful. Book your ticket in advance. I really love going at the opera. The is fancy on the outside as well as the inside. What I love about the shows is that they always invest a lot of effort in the costumes and decorations. I don't think I was ever disappointed about a performance here (maybe unless I didn't like the actual story) The prices for the tickets are quite reasonable, I really like the places at the balcony in the center as you have a great view (but sometimes it gets really hot). The Bucharest National House is a testament to architectural splendor. Its exterior is a breathtaking masterpiece that beautifully merges classical and modern design elements. The grandeur of its facade, adorned with intricate details, is a sight to behold. The magnificent columns, sculptures, and the overall symmetry create a sense of awe. Even from the outside, this house exudes an aura of elegance and sophistication, enticing all to explore the artistic wonders within. Great experience. Went for la traviata, amazing cast. Bought a ticket on first balcony, ground floor and it has obstructed view that it is not mentioned on the website. Had to move during the performance to be able to see. The Bucharest is a stunning cultural experience! The itself is beautiful, and the interior is elegant and well-maintained. Performances are top-quality, with talented singers, musicians, and a professional orchestra that bring every show to life. The staff is welcoming and helpful, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you’re a fan of or just looking for a memorable evening, the Bucharest is definitely worth a visit. Every step you take in this is more impressive than the last. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The spiral staircases were impressive, and just knowing it was built by asking a lei from every person in the community to build it made it feel personal. The mural around the auditorium was my favorite part, showing the history of Romania in beautiful fresco. They don't offer access during performances or rehearsals, but it is well worth a look, so don't give up and try again. Of course, most important house in Romania, always great to see operas here, talented singers! O experiență de milioane All the shows are amazing! A modern approach to the classic music. We watched Faust. It was beautiful. Went to a performance of Tosca. Enjoyed it. Soloists playing main roles were excellent. Nice house, people quite dressed up, but casual outside (seems you can park right outside). Booked a few months back so had a nice choice of seats at reasonable price. Easy to get to via metro at Eroiler. Metro only 3 RON. Also has a little museum of costumes, props and scores from operas and ballets. Would like to visit again as have heard the ballet is world class here. A perfect Nabucco performance! The venue was very impressive but also elegant; it was an immensely enjoyable experience! Good classical school. Surprisingly even cosi fan tutti is played that is a rare gem. Casting is a bit questionable sometimes. One more female restroom would be a more civilised touch. Generally you get everything what’s needed for an lover. Purchased Category 1 tickets in Loja 22 with unobstructed view, according to their website, and got this. Unacceptable! A beautiful, but very old with the appropriate smell of antiquity. Acoustics is almost 4 out of 5. If you sit on the balcony, the hall is clearly visible, but the screen broadcasting details is visible only to the lower half. For the central theater in the Center of the country there must be something more amazing and impressive.
