Nothing changes in September and during the whole year, the service is not improved and bathrooms cold be better cleaned. Ask for the receipts when you leave... Every morning starts with a short walk and a cappuccino 🥳🙏 Nice place with good pizza. Have been to this candy store twice. Pleasant terrace, aromatic and velvet coffee, great cakes. Near the bakery - they bought fresh and fragrant bread! We will return again as soon as we arrive at the sea !!! Ristorante Ciro is the best!! Ernesto (the owner) and the group tending the ristorante for him are so friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we've known each other a long time (even though it was only a week). Ernesto, Vincenzo, Gabriella and the entire staff always greeted us with a big smile, provided excellent service, and always extended themselves to help us enjoy our stay. Ciro serves a great capuccino, latte, or americanco (even tried to make it as we do back home in California according to our direction) to start your day along with excellent fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches, lunch and light dinners as well. They were sooooo good we stopped in each morning (we really miss Ciro now) and almost every afternoon. The bar at Ciro serves all the beverages you can think of too. Ernesto and Vincenzo taught us a lot about the different types of Grappa and local wines and ensured we sampled almost all, ah what a fantastic place. When asked for suggestions on other local places to eat, they wanted to know what type food we felt like having, after listening to us all (there were four in our party) they provided some great places to try. They even suggested a few local wineries to go tasting during our stay, which we did and they were splendid too!! We've been to many places in the world and can not recall anywhere that treated us with such kindness and respect and yet made us feel so welcomed in such a short period of time. Should this happen to you what would you think? You start your first night in "della Pescaia" as the locals refer to it (our first time in Italy), looking for a place with wifi to determine how to plan our day trip to Florence using public transportation, and come upon Ciro at 11PM, we order a coffee, sit at a table out front, then get on the net and all the sites come up in Italian and of course us not knowing Italian... we then ask the guy behind the counter for a little guidance, who then very politely asks if he can control our iPad, and quickly takes us to the website links we need and explains what we need to set our plan in order - totally relieving the pressure we were under to get it straight ...how can anyone go wrong stopping at Ciro's.
