The one you are dreaming about. No menu, no prices. The local chef offers something but you also can ask for it. The food comes in the middle and you just take for yourself. The waiter not too kind but you do not care because the atmosphere just really nice. When you arrive to bottle of red wines are on the table without label just some local wine. The food is not really good but it also does not matter. The is just set at the end but do not worry about it. It will be fair. No nonsense Trattoria with a very good and friendly service! Last night you could only order the “tasting menu” which included a lot of plates and a lot of food… not a lot of choice if you don’t eat meat (this time). We loved the house wines (red and white; which are the only wine they served). The atmosphere was great and the we payed very low (108€ for four people)! €27 for 9 courses, absolutely amazing. Includes unlimited wine. Great food and service. Can’t wait to come back! We were staying nearby and one early eve just followed the smell from this place kitchen. They didn't have tables for this evening, so we booked for the following one and came without really knowing what to expect. We were up for a great surprise of the many wonderful homemade dishes that just kept arriving from the kitchen until we just had to ask them to stop, we were so full and so happy with the food we got. The service was also lovely, it is a wonderful place and won't leave you broke either! Looking forward to come back one day, but will be fasting for a week before another dinner here 🙃 This may be Italy hidden treasure! The food is more than you can possibly eat and delicious. All nine courses YES NINE COURSES ARE AMAZING. Start with a bottle of local wine and large bottle of water then the food keeps rolling out course after course is fresh just mad food based on the day’s menu you don’t decide ( not true I saw someone order individually guess they did need nine courses of perfect food ) the service is abrupt but polite and fast every dish was perfect home made linguini with black truffle sauce, chunks of wild boar, baby lamb shank, WHAT!!! The Tuscania Ravioli was a meal in itself. Then coffee Limoncello or Grapa and desert. All this for I can’t print the pice it’s too low they need to raise there prices. I tipped (yea I know they don’t tip, well I’m an American and I gladly would have paid three times the of the meal) the of the meal it was so reasonable. Great quantity for the price! Appetizer, 3 pasta dishes, 2 meat dishes. The quality of the dishes was fine, especially considering the (27€ per person, fixed menu), but don't expect high cuisine. The hosts were extremely friendly, great atmosphere! Located in beautiful Tuscan countryside this trattoria is a little gem. You dont even have to order. They start with appetizers (They incluse tuscan prosciutto, crostini toscani and more), followed by three primi piatti (tagliolini al tartufo may be the best) and then secondi (among them cinghiale in umido which was my fav). Finish with dolci della casa and maybe a glass of limoncello. The owners are really welcoming and treat you to a Tuscan feast. Reccomended to make a reservation. Excellent experience! Very nice cozy environment in a beautiful village. Super friendly people specially the chef Luciano. Made me feel so welcome and the food of course delicious. 100% recommended !
