This is my favourite pastry-shop in Osijek. I have literally walked across town for 6 miles several times during my life to get their warm "burek" (cheese or meat pie) in my hands (and mouth). Nothing comes close to El Pan in Osijek. Nice little bakery. There is always a line of people inside and outside waiting for the delicious piece of fresh bakery ... Perfect for a quick snack at night, or on weekends when nothing else is open. Selection of bakery products isn't huge, but most of it is often fresh due to high traffic. Note: only cash is accepted as payment, no cards. There is the best pizza and burek for late comers. Couldn't have enough of the amazing bakes they serve!
