An old house of Löb Strauß known as Levi 's Strauss and currently a museum. guide is available in English and in Deutsch. Inside tells the story of how he started the business and his journey to the U.S.. Beside the is a Levi' s shop and a small coffee shop on the corner. Nice history of one of the greatest jeans and jackets manufacturer. Good guide of the story of Levi Strauss from Bavaria to San Francisco. Worth it. It was very interesting to learn about the man who founded Levis. In the first part of the it was a guided by an tour which I would imagine is available in several languages. It was a little bit too much for me. Would have preferred more visual elements. For the later part there was a cool cinema where you could watch old Levi adverts. That was my favourite part. The newer part of the was also pretty cool with lots of info on modern culture and even the women’s movement but only in German. Rude personnel, credit cards not accepted, only cash. The itself is interesting, the building is well-preserved. Please update your paying system and staff to be more accommodating to international visitors. Thank you. Birth place of Levi Strauss. The is small, cozy and thanks to the guide full of information. It gives the history of the Strauss family and the reasons for their emigration to USA and of course history of his famous jeans. It is interesting and funny and do not miss the cinema with various commercials for the famous brand. If you are in the area it is definitely worth of visiting. In the shop you can even buy the jeans! Very interesting and good guide Great with interesting facts about the famous inventor of the Jeans. For students and the elderly there is a reduced entry of 3€ which was my price category. The itself was informative and captivating, it didn't have lots of interactive opportunities for the visitors but no sweat there. They presented jeans and Props of the different chapters. I do recommend going here. All the best! Levi’s original birth house is renovated in to a kind of storyline with guide. In my opinion, rich of information. The room are small as it originally was, so it can be a bit narrow if a lot of people are visiting. A store by the end, sadly no good offers..that’s why not 5 star..Tickets: 5€/person Cute little about the history of Levi Strauss. One thing I missed in the shop were special editions / retro models with heavy fabric.
