Top atelier Recently I purchased a beautiful wedding from this shop. While I was absolutely in love with the dress, the service I received regarding was terrible. After purchasing my dress, I needed to relocate from Italy to the US 3 months before to my wedding. I would be returning to Italy just 1 week before my wedding. Prior to my move, I wanted to have a couple of fittings. During these appointments I was rushed, and told that no real adjustments or modifications could be made until closer to my wedding. I then scheduled 3 appointments for the week prior to my event, immediately upon my return to Italy. The week prior to these appointments (when I was about to leave the US), I was phoned and told one needed to be rescheduled - which was a bit annoying considering how many moving pieces were I play and the timing of my event...but fine. I then returned to Italy and began the fittings. At my first appointment back, I was told that simple changes to my veil were not yet made (after 3 months!) so I could not take my veil with me to my hair trial the following day. The original seamstress I was working with, was also no longer around to assist in my modifications. During each of these 3 appointments, i was rushed. During the final appointment, a hem was made too short. I was told that the hem could be let down, but I had to agree that after that change was complete, the was done - and I was not longer allowed to re-try and make more changes. Because of my utter exhaustion, and the fact that my event was 48 hours away - I just settled. However - When all was said and done, the bustle of the actually broke during the wedding. The tulle was also too long and hung out beneath the final hem...upon getting dressed for my big day, my mother was on her hands and knees cutting the tulle so that it did not hang out unevenly out of the bottom of my dress. If the sarta (seamstress) had been given adequate time and calmness to complete the needed changes, I think the would Have been fine...however, management was so pushy and rushed us so much, things we not done at the pace needed to deliver a ready for the most important day in a client’s life.
