Very nice restaurant located on the airfield of midden Zeeland. Perfect outdoor seating with clear view of the grass runway. Aircrafts arrive and depart continuously. Make sure to eat the mussels, as they are the best. Here YOU can eat very good Lunch stop on a flight to Middelburg & very much enjoyed. Worth a visit 👍 Sad experience in this place. We arrived with my family as we intended to have a nice day because it was my husband's birthday . We waited for about an hour and no one came to serve us, my husband went to ask to be served and they told him they would come but no one came, again after waiting for a long time one of my children went to ask one of the waitresses if she could serve us and she ignored him. The waitresses served the people around us but not us. Also our table was dirty with plates and glasses of food from previous customers. I wonder if this bad treatment was racism to which I hope not . Anyway we will not return to this place. We were made hostile by the atmosphere of this restaurant. Amazing location - always something to see at the airfield. Service and food were excellent and we where very friendly welcomed! Fantastic view over the airport, with great dishes (Quesadilla’s 🌟) and good coffee&cake 😋 We took our lunch after landed from an overland flight. Outdoor seating is great, looking over the landingstrip yet can get a bit noisy over time. The food is excellent, as is the staff: friendly, forthcoming and charming. Entertained by looking at airplanes eating here is a different experience. I ordered ossenhaas and it was really good. I will leave another review for other food i ordered next day Completely professional service and marvellous food. Plus the added bonus of the occasional departing aircraft. Worth the journey even if you are not an aviation enthusiast.
