One of the Best Places To Visits in Hoek Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The following information was indicated and not present or done. -The for cleaning - presence of swimming or entrance tickets for a swimming pool - presence of sauna - presence of all kitchen equipment and appliances - restaurant ( permanently closed) - Welcome pack, wine and coffee or tea - no wifi presence for guests on the entire not even at the public spaces or for a price (which I needed to work) The quality of everything that is present is also very low. What is understandable is that this must be indicated at the park. We booked this place with the confidence that everything was present at the park. Not only can we not do much at the park, but I can't work either. Definatly NOT CHILD FRIENDLY the house and surrounding is in terrible condition children van get hurt. Also our door was disfunctioning and we could not open it for multiple times with our key card. The so called sea is just a very dirty sea side no no just nasty Our solution? We went to other parks like the roomot resorts to have a good vacation and the REAL which is there. Good location however site was in need of a good deal of maintenance. Grass was never cut, toilets were not restocked and elsan points were unusable most of the time. This does not even deserve a 1 star opinion !! ... On the first day we had to clean the house to survive 3 nights at all! Dirt, stinks, dust, spiders, cobwebs. The water in the lake is smelly and green! Zero clean water! Playgrounds in poor condition. Green lawns not well-kept! Our daughter really wanted to play in the water, but it smelled like a cesspool. We will never go back there again.!! I am currently on holiday at this holiday and feel to review it already. The caravans are a disaster. The decking is broken in multiple areas and overall feels quite unsafe. The caravans are quite small and shockingly pungent. Having worked with homeless people in the past, the smell is reminiscent of a homeless shelter, - no offence intended to people in those circumstances. The lack of cleanliness can literally be smelt. The beds do not come ready made but rather, a pack of linen is provided for you to make the bed yourself. That alone was a further unpleasant experience, not because of a labour, but because of the smell of damp and mold coming from under the mattress everytime a corner of the sheet is tucked under, in all rooms. The pillows and blankets are in a horrendous and complete unsanitary state. On our first full day here, I felt inclined to buy new bedding for my family and candles to mask the pungent smell from the caravan. Spiderwebs and dust bunnies can be found everywhere. The toilet sadly wasn't in much better condition, with it smelling like a well used public toilet, and mold can be found in the showers as well. The overall is in a very dilapidated state and DESPERATELY needs some love and care. There is no on site as their imagery would suggest, and very few of the other children's activities are available. The only saving grace is the relationship built with other families and their children here to preoccupy us from the living conditions. I have never been on holiday and looked forward to going home, but this time round, I very much do. I am absolutely shocked that this is allowed! The image attached is of one of their toilets on site...it pretty much sets the mood for the rest of the park. Nice indoor playground, this is the own advantage of the place. No indoor swimming pool, though it is mentioned on different commercial materials. The is in terrible condition, we found it very weird that the owners failed to clean it up, while it would have taken half day of work. 20 min to the nearest sea to save your holiday for those who don't mind to drive. Looks like nobody cares about what would tourists experience, it is just meant to get profits I came with my 2 kids of 9 and 11 years old. We were in a blue caravan at 184. I was dissappointed that the pictures and reality of the place does not show the same... the has dissapeared. The playground next and into the water was in dirty and inmaintained shape.. I thought the kids could enjoy the and waterslides but once here, the water is covered in green plants and the has washed off to. There was a sighn: enter on own risk... we stayed 1 week and half of the week we didnt have any neighbours so the place was quite exept 4 the giant lawnmoawer that passed daily! The caravan was really cleam, especially arround the coocking fire and the showerdoor gap. There were woods completely lose of the frontdeck and the steps which we went 2 report and nothing happened all week. As a person dependent on crutched due to recovery of an 1ccident I must say: it takes 3 steps 2 reach the deck and 1 again to enter the caravan. When the wood of the steps and deck is wet, it is hudgly slippery!!! B prepared! Fridge works but not very cold. Shower is hot and ok. As u arrive u get a package of bedsheet to cover the bed, pillow and duvet. I was really happy 2 cover them cos they do not look hygienic... Nice lake.renting of boat possible. Indoor playground was enjoyed a lot as also minigolf indoor. Restaurant/ bar are nice but prices could b better. Food from snacks to burger, ribs and pizza. I do not think I will b comming here again unless heavely renovated... dissapointed but we made the bedt out of it. I went to this campsite towards the end of the season for a weekend. First of all, when you arrive, the mobile home is disgusting: stains everywhere, cobwebs on every wall, the floor is filthy, etc. Secondly, the staff are as unpleasant as can be. They're not welcoming and don't seem to want to work here. Otherwise, the campsite has a lot of fun activities for the whole family, but as the weather was really bad during the whole weekend, I can't really talk about them. In short, if the weather's good and you're lucky (if it is washed) I recommend it, but there are much better campsites. The house looks like the photos but may differ because you get one of 300 identical units. The check-in was terrible. According to the website, it was possible from 3 PM, but since we arrived at 6 AM, we asked around noon if we could check-in early because we arrived earlier. We were rudely told, without even glancing at the computer, "No, it's not possible, maybe at 2 PM." By the way, there were hundreds of free keys hanging on the wall next to the reception. So we came back around 2 PM and asked if a room was ready now. We got the same response, "NO CHECK-IN BEFORE 3 PM, CAN’T YOU READ?" The reception staff became increasingly unfriendly. The highlight was when we tried to check-in around 3:20 PM and were told, "We still have to wait for the list, check-in is not possible yet." Finally, around 4 PM, we received one of the already empty 200 cabins. Hospitality is not a priority here. The house was clean, but the bed linens were dirty and stained. We were able to exchange them for free at the reception, but the new ones were also dirty, so we ended up using our own blankets. The house was very small, with bed lengths of about 170 cm (good luck to anyone taller). Out of the 300 cabins, maybe 20 were occupied despite the holiday. Then we went to the beach, which resembled Chernobyl or the next Fallout or Walking Dead game, with dilapidated facilities where the paint was peeling in 2-meter high grass. We wanted to rent a boat, but the shop was unstaffed, and the boats were lying on the shore despite the nice weather and the reception saying, "Go to the harbor to get the boats, not here." Swimming should be reconsidered because the whole shore is full of entangling plants where your foot can easily get caught. There is also a shop that charges €4 for a 0.3 liter Coke. To say something positive, everyone has a parking spot.
