Egy remek hely. A beautiful and well preserved castle. Easy access, not far from the main road, with parking spots. You cannot go inside it without a guide, but you can't miss his stories and knowledge about this place, being the owner. Castelul este mare, cu o istorie zbuciumata a familiei care l-a locuit - partea frumoasa a povestii e destul de scurta, dar e doar a ultimei generatii a celor ce au detinut castelul si au si locuit in el. E ca o poveste, ca un scenariu de film, parca, cu o motoreta cu atas stricata, taman in satul acela, cu gazduirea pana la repararea motoretei a scotienei ce avea sa ii fure inima contelui, o casatorie si multi copii, o viata plina de eruditie si talent, apoi zbuciumul confiscarii averii, a jafului si al distrugerii, o prietenie neobisnuita cu Petru Groza (presedintele comunist educat)... Azi, castelul e in posesia urmasilor (nepotii acelui cuplu Kemeny), dintre care, pe dl. Geza l-am intalnit la poarta, la bilete. Va fi destul de greu de facut orice, dar oamenii se straduiesc. Camerele au fost umplute cu obiecte cumparate sau din donatii, provenind cam din vremea ultimilor locuitori fericiti ai castelului, doar cateva obiecte se pare ca ar mai fi de acolo, dar si povestea asta e ciudata si trista... Oricum fara poveste, vizita la castel ar fi fara sens. Ghidul a fost extrem de documentat, toate informatiile au facut ca vizita sa fie interesanta, oferindu-ne atatea detalii ce au facut din relatare o poveste. Am inteles notiunea de conte (neobisnuita in Romania), simbolizarea pe blazonul familiei, am colindat prin toate camerele deschise publicului si apoi prin pod, pana la balconul de unde vezi curtea din fata, am pipait cartile cu coperti de lana (nu mai auzisem pana atunci) si ne-am imaginat bogatia de atunci si jaful de dupa. Inainte de a pleca in turul ghidat, am fost serviti cu un paharut de painca buna, de prune, am povestit cu ghidul cate in luna si in stele si am intrebat tot ce am vrut. Povestea aceea a dat viata castelului, altfel mort si inert. Am vazut si gradina si arborii seculari sunt impresionanti. Din pacate, la locurile importante din gradina, informatiile sunt doar in imba maghiara. Asta se poate corecta, suntem siguri Merita vizitat, e o pagina de istorie atat de aparte si total necunoscuta, de altfel. Speram ca stradaniile de a-l renova sa dea rod. Poate revenim peste cativa ani sa vedem ce mai e acolo. (spitalul de psihiatrie clar nu avea ce cauta in castel, dar nici acum nu e departe, iti da fiori cand intri in curte si citesti si realizezi ca aia e) Amazing and the is a great story-teller What a beautiful and romantic place to visit. It cost 20 romanian lei to enter per person. Un castel foarte interesant, cu o istorie bogata dar si zbuciumata. Merita vizitat, ghidul este foarte documentat, me-a placut mult turul. Emiatt nem mennék vissza. Annyit mertünk kérdezni, hogy 30 főre van-e csoportos kedvezmény. Arról nem az érdeklődő odalátogató tehet, hogy ő, mint jelenlegi felelőse nem tud pályázni. Castelul Kemeny merită vizitat. Cu o istorie îndelungată, ghidul il readuce ușor la viață. Actual, castelul găzduiește și o expoziție vânătoresca. Intrarea este 30 lei pentru adulți. Din păcate nu este renovat, fiind distrus in mai multe rânduri, totuși unele camere sunt amenajate in stilul original si povestesc cu interes istoria castelului. Ami igazán különlegessé teszi a látogatást, hogy maga a tulajdonos vezeti körbe az érdeklődőket – így nemcsak a kastély termeit láthatjuk, hanem személyes történeteket és élő emlékeket is hallhatunk. A vezetés barátságos, közvetlen és nagyon érdekes. Nagyon ajánlom mindenkinek, aki Erdélyben jár! 🌿🏰 Abszolút nem ajánlom!! Gyönyörű a kastély és a hozzátartozó park, de a látogatás élményét teljesen tönkretette a politizáló tárlatvezetés. Azért fizet az ember, hogy a Helikoni közösségről ,s Wass Albertről hallana, ehelyett a hangsúly politikai irányba ment. Hatalmas csalódás, szép hely, de a vezetés szégyen...Úgy gondolom, hogy egy ilyen vezetésnek a szellemiségét, kulturális örökségét kellene közvetítenie, s nem politikai nézeteket.
