Played today as a guest, course in excellent condition, fast greens, well tended fairways and green boxes, a credit to the green keepers, recommend it. Some narrow fairways with tough drives and nice par 3s. Friendly helpful staff. No issue getting a tee time that suits. Played Sunday the 30th of June at 12pm. The course was in very good condition. Everything was neat and tidy around the trees, tee boxes and greens. Good value for anyone living in limerick city and the outskirt areas. Clubhouse is kept well. Staff are pleasant and professional. This course has potential hired clubs broken dirty you need to do a lot better to make golfers to come back this is a course that looks after you By far the worst course I’ve ever seen how they think a 28 euro green fee is acceptable is beyond me. rough and fairways can’t be distinguished below are the so called “tee box’s and greens” Complete waste of money. Shocking. Utterly shocking. Havent a clue what the greenskeeper does for work. Greens in awful state some even frozen over. So many holes in it i dont know what one i should be aiming for. Rabbits hibernating under the teebox surely need to be fixed. Someone drives around on a buggy looking like a German WW2 tank. Im not suprised because the course itself looks like a battlefield. You’d hear about the German bombings of London and Belfast, but this is the first im finding out about the bombing of Rathbane. Disgusting. Terrible shame to see the continouous decline of this course that has so much potential. Greens and tee boxes are a disgrace. Randomers constantly walking onto the course without paying because there's no martial. It doesn't matter how cheap the course is. If you can't get the basics right, it isn't worth playing there.
