We ordered (vegetarian and “mješana”, ham, chese and mushrooms). were just OK, 3,5/5. It could be better if they used better quality cheese and ham. Mushrooms were great, dough was OK (other reviewers’ images looked like it is napoletana style pizza, but our dough was more bread like, not fluffy, but still ok), doesn’t seem wood oven baked. What you need to take into the account is price, which is very low compared to more touristy pizzerias near the coast (we paid 22 eur for two pizzas, 1l mineral water and fruit juice). Other dishes ordered by guest next to us looked good (burgers, cevapcici etc.), portions are a big. To conclude, good price-performance, decent (if they upgrade the cheese, it would get higher score), good location, very friendly staff, cash or card payment, parking OK-ish. Toilets and interior are decent, might need u bit of an update. Overall experience 3.5/5. Very tasty. Lokation, equipment (seating, furniture), toilets = 3 three stars, old and sticky, but the taste and meal and portion size 5 stars. Service was a little slower but that was expected of a very local eatery that was also attending to large families. There were also staff who could speak english. We had the shopska salad, fried squid with fries and the vegetarian pizza. The ambience was laid back and the food was simply delicious - very hearty and huge portions. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal there. It was just the two of us so we had to pack most of the to go since it was a little too much food. We ordered two - Mary Jane and Quattro formaggi. Both were very delitious and rich with ingredients. You can taste that all ingredients are very good quality. Parking is free in the backyard, and at first it's a bit tricky to find the restaurant, but just follow the signs on the street and you will find it up the stairs. I absolutely love coming to visit my Auntie here in croatia and by far you can go in city center but to compare to NY this may be even better this is the best in the region hands down!!!
