Hieno uimapaikka 🙂 A lovely spot, pleasantly uncrowded when we visited. The toilets were spotless, and the water edge changing facilities were very useful. Just €5 for a car and passengers. The is a nice place for openwater swimming. The area has well maintained toilets, showers, booths for changing clothes and self-service grill. During the summertime a small kiosk-cafe sells things to eat and drink. There is a rather nice marked trail circling the lake. Parking during summer 2023 costs 5€/day. Great beach, with top-of the line services, clean water (situation may change over the summer), cafe, indoor toilets, grills and lot’s of grass areas and sandy section too. The parking costs 5€ per visit but is well worth it. What an exceptional place! I was passing through on my way to Helsinki airport and I saw a sign to this place and decided to swing by. The car park is huge - some 100+ spaces - which makes me think this is a true summertime destination. There was a and a few pontoons with ladders which gained access to the water. However I was more interested in walking around the lake, and there is a very long walk around it! Following the blue path it will take you around the and then it splits off and I decided to carry on walking around the - the blue path said 10km further which I did not manage to explore! This is a really good place if you would like a proper hike, a short stroll or a swim. I really highly recommend it. Really nice place, they have a small cafeteria with snack, icecream and coffee. Also you can rent SUP. Showers and toilets are available and also a place for sand volleyball. You are also allowed to have barbecue if it's not too windy and dried outside. Good swimming beach. 5€ parking fee for the whole day. However similar around in Porvoo is free. Nice Lake, with shadow if you need or want. Shallow water in the beginning and deep after some 20 meters. One of the few lakes without "sinilevää" still. It also has some places to grill your own makkara. I am in love with this place. There was so many people in the lakeside but all were in the distance. I was enjoyed so much that I forgot to click more pictures 🤦🏻‍♀️. Siisti Upee paikka, isot nurmikko alueet.
