Unfortunately I can't really recommend these psychiatrists as they are currently running. There are often delays to reports, time scales on things given in appointments which end up not being accurate. Not really feeling like my concerns and hopes have been taken into account between appointments, so feeling a bit ignored. A debit card system that never worked, resulting in having to pay by bank transfer which caused delays. I gave an extra star as at least twice it was my own fault for forgetting to pay or coming on the wrong day, and they were fairly accomadating. But I'm diagnosed with these issues so they're partially part of the condition: but when I'm relying on them, especially for paying so much for their services, I'd expect much more reliability. The problem is I now stuck with them as my GP is currently delaying accepting a shared agreement, despite the the psychiatrist being certain they would accept it. I acknowledge this isn't the psychiatrists fault, but I they should have made clearer there's a chance the agreement won't be accepted. Also they left me without or a follow up appointment because this was meant to be completed within a month. But the psychiatrist was delayed by a month in sending the paperwork. Then they didn't reply to their emails. And now I've got to wait nearly a month just for a appointment to get a repeat prescription. I was really delaying leaving a review as I was really worried it might impact on my but it's at the point it is now bothering me too much. I had a really positive with Dr SJ & Partners today, especially thanks to Elaine, who went above and beyond to help me with my ADHD referral. She was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding — something that really made a difference during what can sometimes be a stressful process. Her and genuine were greatly appreciated. Thank you again, Elaine! ASD assessment I have just had my ASD with Dr J & colleagues and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process! I was so nervous and scared but the whole way through everyone was so kind, compassionate and made me so at ease. I had Dr Laura Jackson and Dr Verela Cipriano and both doctors were amazing. They really made me so comfortable and understood and I never rushed, if I didn’t understand anything they were really patient and excellent at explaining things for me. The admin team have also been brilliant, always so and helpful, and extremely prompt at getting back to me whenever I had questions I would highly highly recommend Dr J & colleagues Thank you so much everyone for making such a big moment in my life easier ☺️ I had a great with Dr J and Colleagues. I think my initial wait was about 4/5 months but this was largely due to issues with my GP. From my first appointment when I received a diagnosis of ADHD to my titration appointments with Sandra, everything was smooth sailing. After 6 months of titration, I've just been referred back to my GP for shared as I'm on a dose I am happy with and benefits me greatly. Communication has been really good, and Jewel Hussain was very helpful in my journey. Even though it was only two remote appointments, I he really listened to me and didn't dismiss my feels and symptoms. Professional, knowledgeable and accessible. I received excellent through my diagnosis and subsequent titration process. Everything was explained clearly, and I my views were respected and heard. Highly recommend. Ireti has been excellent with me from the start. She is caring and listens and puts things into perspective. A very bright ray of sunshine on this sometimes difficult ADHD journey. One of life's good people 🙂 Denis Extremely unprofessional admin staff Whilst the health staff are wonderful, the admin staff are AWFUL. I was given a report after consultation for ADHD and advised tritation appointments would begin within 12 weeks. It is now week 14 They ignore my phone calls, and ignore repeated emails and no communication. Be weary of how this company operates I met with Korser Khan and she was so very and patient and listened and put me at ease. It was a very emotional moment but she was just lovely. I waited 3 years on the NHS and then took the right to choose and the appointment was through within 12 weeks I think. I'm so very grateful for Korser's and concern for my needs and I had my diagnosis in 3 days. Elaine (reception?) is absolutely wonderful and truly an asset to the team. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure I accommodated, which is exactly what I need seeking referral. Her kindness and understanding have made the entire much smoother and more reassuring. If anyone feels the same, I highly recommend calling and asking for her—she’s fantastic! Additionally, Dr. Yann Welton was excellent during my assessment. I comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. To anyone considering using Dr J and Colleagues for their journey with ADHD and the treatment process… Be it luck or simply the standard, I seem to be receiving a great service and it has been that way since the initial contact made. My initial with the Doctor was straightforward and I comfortable discussing my difficulties. The Clinician allocated to me (Amanda) has been 100% engaged in our discussions, she actively listens to what I think and feel, but is also competent to direct and explain much of the reasons why the decisions through the titration are being made. She is supportive, knowledgeable, professional and personable which is frankly rare to come by in my when dealing with medical professionals. Amanda thank you for what you have done and what you continue to do, to all the team at Dr J and Colleages I’m truly grateful I went with yourselves out the several options presented to me via my GP. I am impressed with the service provided, and the improvements in my day to day after a few decades of undiagnosed difficulties and struggles incredible to finally be behind me. Tom. I had an excellent with my accessor Megan. She was completely non-judgemental so I at ease talking to her openly. I did not like I was being interrogated but very open and honest with time to speak. Would highly recommend. First class from referral to diagnosis. The admin staff have been fantastic and my assessor was extremely professional, attentive and made me comfortable/relaxed throughout my assessment. Couldn't fault Dr J and Colleagues in any way. Professionalism at its finest 👍 I can't fault the ADHD here. I have had a wonderful and rate it 5/5. Firstly I'd like to thank Korser Khan who was so lovely, reassuring and during my and even celebrated with me when she gave me my diagnosis. Secondly I would like to thank Ireti Blankson for helping me with my titration. It is still ongoing but she reassures me at every step that what I'm experiencing can be normal and does her best to find the next step forward. Unfortunately I have had to lower my rating as I'm not having the same with my ASD assessment. My initial appointment made me very uncomfortable and the assessor was quite judgemental in her tone and my feelings were made to seem invalid. I was told after that that I would be sent some forms to fill out and I would be given a date for my next appointment, usually around 12 weeks after. It has now been 19 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I have tried calling to chase this but end up in the queue for over 30 mins no matter what time I call. I heartbroken and let down by Dr J and Colleagues. Received my medication. A few months ago Elvanse 30mg. I hadn't been able to consistently take them during the start of titration because I had a stomach virus and ongoing stomach issues which I was first dealing with. I shared this with them and asked if I could wait until I recovered, They simply just cancelled my titration appointment and never heard from them again. No personal response. Just cancellation. Months went by and nothing. I'm utterly lost and don't know what to do. They prescribed me a life changing medication, then left me stranded in the dark. Very disappointing and unfair on people, if this is what you do and how you treat them. It's not safe for people. What about when people have side effects or issues with medication? And you've already done a disappearing act? It's disgraceful And I still I don't know what to do, I'm struggling and back at square one again. Got my diagnosis and more alone than ever. My with Dr J and Colleagues has been excellent. I have had my ADHD and Autism assessments and it has been a simple and easy process. The I have received for my ADHD has been amazing. Amanda O’Brien has been excellent through the titration process. She has been very thorough and supportive. Her advice and has been very good. I recommend Dr J and Colleagues highly! Thank you so much! I've been working with Amanda O'Brien through my tritation and adjustment journey on taking Elvanse and I have to say that she's made a very daunting scenario very easy and stress free. I've been dreading discussing my situation and ailments but it's been very seamless, Amanda always listens, hears me and always has my best interests in her advice, I'm not sure that I could have had a better if I'd hand selected my consultant. She's been incredible with me and I'm eternally grateful. The has been life changing for me. I was a master student in the UK and I’m incredibly grateful to this clinic—especially to Dr. Amanda O’Brien. She’s the most genuine and doctor I’ve ever met. Over the past year, my journey with ADHD treatment and follow-ups has been outstanding because of her and support. She always replied to my (often long!) emails so quickly, offering thoughtful advice with warmth and professionalism. I genuinely seen, heard, and involved in every step of my treatment plan—something I’ve found rare with other doctors who tend to rush appointments just to wrap things up. This was completely different, and without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had, both in the UK and in my home country. When I had to return home after finishing my studies, I was honestly so anxious about the logistics—different systems, access, airport procedures—you name it. But Dr. O’Brien was amazing! She helped me sort out the documents I needed, made sure I had a proper supply of my before traveling, and reassured me that I could always reach out if I needed anything. That of meant the world to me and made the whole transition so much smoother. I’ll always be thankful to have had her as my doctor. Truly one of a kind! Life changing. I’m 60, I was assessed 3 months ago, now on regular Elvanse medication. This whole from the consultations and treatment has been life changing. My life has been transformed, for the first time ever I calm & balanced, I can focus, concentrate and not over react, it’s like I’m finally in control of the hurricane inside me, I can now choose when to unleash it & immediately reign it in again. I can also now not only control my drinking I no longer want to, it finally has no appeal as my mind is calm & my emotions are steady. So this is what normal life feels like. Fantastic. I had a really positive with Dr J and Colleagues. The whole was much quicker than NHS waiting times, which made such a difference in getting the I needed. Everything was clearly communicated, and I well-informed at every stage. I’m especially grateful to Megan Smith, who was incredibly kind, supportive, and efficient throughout - she really made the smooth and manageable. Getting assessed and receiving results in a timely and professional way gave me a lot of clarity and peace of mind. I’d definitely recommend this service to others seeking answers and support. Fantastic and professional service. Very organised and planned. My main practitioner was Amanda who was so kind, calm and knowledgable. I like I was in good hands through out the whole process. Like a lot of other people on here, I similarly had issues with a lack of reply from the admin team. Amongst this, I also had a clinician roll his eyes at me and generally just treat me rudely. My main issue was that, despite being reassured directly that even in moving to Scotland (as I told them straight up and in advance) my ASD would be continued, I was cut off after the first part of my and the extensive forms were completed. They had been aware I was moving in September since August, and yet continued to assess me until randomly emailing me one day to cancel my already booked final appointment due to a 'change of GP'. As someone with suspected autism and diagnosed ADHD, this is incredibly disorienting and upsetting. To be given hope and led through a very emotional diagnosis to then be left in the dark with no is unprofessional and irresponsible in my opinion. I recently received a diagnosis of ADHD from Dr. J and colleagues after a long wait with the NHS. I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my treatment; I received the best and kindness. I am now medicated, and life is finally looking up. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Ireti Blankson. You have been incredibly helpful throughout the process, and your understanding and patience have made a world of difference. You are truly amazing. 💛💛💛 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
