Absolutely brilliant! Didn't crack the codes but had fun trying. Staff were great. The staff were awesome, the was pretty good but the noise was so distracting it really ruined it for us. You can hear all other teams having their prep talk then your can hear them again when they're in their room. Hard to rectify now but the thin walls needed to be insulated. Did the Sherlock Justice room, really good ambience given it is set in a former courtroom. Reasonable balance of lateral thinking and pure guess work in the problems to solve, but definitely requires good teamwork to in time. The bonus puzzle at the end took me by surprise (first timer to an room) but added an edge of against the clock controlled panic to get to the full hour. We did the Overthrone room. The tasks were really good and not *too* hard to solve. First time at in Lincoln. Brought my sister aged 12 and she was really involved and could figure things out too. Whole family really enjoyed it and we even got on the leaderboard for the day Brilliant! I had no idea what to expect when I was given an ‘escape experience’ as a birthday preset, but we weren’t disappointed. Four adults became immersed in a quest to an intriguing problem in sixty minutes. I. Don’t think that ‘escape room’ best describes an that we’re still laughing and chatting about days later. The time whizzed by, we didn’t the ‘problem’, we (there were four of us) had a good laugh and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Tabby for looking after us so well, not rushing us and letting us feel that our custom was appreciated. We’ll be back for more soon…. game and friendly staff - we did the Judge & Jury game. Very well thought rooms out and definitely gets your brain ticking. The Sherlock Holmes’s judgement day blew our minds and the setting with the original courtroom was amazing. Highly recommend if ya think you’re clever enough!! 😂😂 I’ve never tried an before. Lincoln was fab. They have a variety of different scenarios… each is very different and some appear harder to complete than the others. We did Sherlock - Initiation. This was great.. trying to Sherlock Holmes’ riddles and clues to find out who the criminal is. It was quite hard, but helped by hints if we got stuck… and I think most people will need a little help. We did it, in 56 minutes and it was a brilliant experience. I am looking forward to trying another one soon. First ever game for me, and I LOVED it. I'd originally booked the In The Slammer game but, following the wise counsel of Gamesmaster Macy, we played Mystic Alley instead and I'm so very glad that we did - it was much more suitable for our party, which included 2 youngsters, and for our level of experience. The clues were varied and challenging, and we did need a few hints to point us in the right direction at times, but we managed to with 8 minutes to spare. The has left me keen to try more games, and it's to know that there are many more to try at Gamesaints, including one that would challenge even the most hardened of players (In The Slammer). But for me it's the level of service and the attention to detail at Gamesaints Lincoln that has led me to leave this review. Macy was so warm and welcoming, so knowledgeable and friendly, and the decor and detail of Mystic Alley was so gorgeous, that I left there feeling rather blown away by it all, quite frankly. A big Bravo to Macy and the team at Gamesaints Lincoln, and we hope to see you again soon experience, definitely worth a visit. 6 of us did the Prisoner at Lincoln we found it value for money and difficult enough to keep all 6 of us engaged with the variety and complexity of the puzzles. It was just all round lots of fun. Jade was very informative before we entered the room. They then only gave hints if we were really stuck or missing the obvious. Cannot wait to try a new on! We had a time doing the Judge & Jury room, it was really exciting to get to complete the challenge in a real courtroom! Staff were lovely, would definitely recommend and will be back ourselves!
