The Sunday lunch was excellent,ordered the should have settled for the small, value for money at it’s best.But whole place needs a revamp If you want a meal this is the place to go. Not expensive and a plate full. Short walk from the hospital/ maternity hospital with function room and a bar/pub side. Been here many times over the years, * Eaten in the social club / pub side, working mans club vibes welcoming and warm environment, lots of options and variety on the bar and also on the menu , food msde to order and always delicious. Pricing is value and the and locals always friendly 🫶 toilets easy signposted and found. Clean and fresh smelling . *a few parties in the evenings ... They are always fantastic with a well stocked bar and food supplied by the hospital club is always delicious. In house DJ and decorating is great. Toilets are clean and tidy and changing mats etc supplied. Entry way and outdoor area for fresh air / smoking area far enough away from Entrance. Clean tidy environment and fab staff. * Given blood here ... Clean and tidy and well set up , toilets are clean and well accessible. on hand if needed and always kind. Lots of seating and refreshments available We went for our Sunday lunch today 😋. I have had the salads through the summer and I have to say that it was absolutely delicious 😋. The are absolutely amazing and they are so friendly. I would definitely recommend that you should go. You can either get a regular or a roast dinner and the salads are quite big aswell. You get such a lot. Great place for a nights entertainment the food that's served is excellent! And very value for money with a wide choice of really lovely meals or light bites available. Sunday lunch does get very busy sometimes, but you are not kept waiting very long for your hot food, five stars all the way!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've never had a bad meal there, its clean with toilets, they have a pool table and TV's, and the are very friendly and helpful. Access is down the side entrance, but I have been with disabled friend's, and readily opened the wide side doors which has an easy flat access for wheel chairs.The are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend the hospital club! we have never had a bad night out there, excellent soul and Motown nights in the hall, plus different singers live in the smaller bar. Well done to this little gem of a place. June x It’s lovely and roomy inside! for conference and meeting Went for the first time last weekend, the food was AMAZING! A Roast Dinner was £10.50 and the plate was huge and FULL! Very tasty! Seeing all the other meals coming out looked beautiful also, will certainly be going back very soon! Fish and chips are good. Place is very small and the smell from kitchen goes to the dining area. We went there for a lunch break and going back to work smells like oily smoke.
