Great beds, comfortable bathrooms and clean overall. They are very attentive to children and beautifully set up the baby bed. Our children each got their own soap with 'Le Petit Prince' on the packaging. The pools were great fun for my daughter to go to while her little baby brother took his nap. There is an honesty bar with fair prices for drinks and snacks. We had our sandwiches for dinner in that bar, because our kids can't wait until 7pm to have dinner at a restaurant. Tip when you stay here: bring your flip flops and a swim cap when you intend to use the indoor pool. Their caps are fine but their flip flops, which you pay 3 euros for, quickly become SUPER floppy 🤣 and fall apart. We arrived really late in Praia de Mira but everyone was incredibly kind and helpful after our strainous journey! The room was very luxerious for 2 students who had booked on a budget and had an ensuite bathroom! A lot of restaurants were walking distance between 5-10mins. Gem of a place. Highly recommend. Bruno is a great host - so kind and welcoming. Fresh breakfast in the morning. Clean rooms. Easy parking. Great location. We will be back. Thank you, Granny's House and Bruno! I can't rate more cause there are no more stats. The place Is great and the hospitality unbelievable. We arrived by bike as we were on a bike tour with one injured. They took us to the medical centre and offered us invaluable help. I really recommend this place. We stayed for four weeks and the hostel ist only 150 m from the beach . It's only a few steps from Shops, Restaurants, Pubs and a nice bakery. The Hosts Luis and Anna we're very helpful to pick out the best sightseeings, farmers markets . We drove more than 2000 km to several Destination as Braga, Obidos, Guimares,Porto and other beautyful poi's. I NEVER stay at hostels. Blech. UGH. But stumbled on this place as it appeared to be bicycle friendly. WOW!!! What a GREAT place!!! SPOTLESSLY clean. My own room with private bathroom. Secure. Friendly. Professional.
