Tiny, but very cosy café. Serves good coffee and pie among other things. The café has several parking spots and there is a public bus stop nearby. Hyggelig kafe med godt bakverk. Supert at de har åpnet igjen We have been here several times under both old and new owners. The garden is fenced off so even younger kids can roam free. The cafe has some great bakery and a soup/meal of the day. During peak hours and season it can get somewhat too crowded in the small cafe and the queue will sometimes go out the store. Good food, service is fine. Highly priced. Great carrot and ginger soup followed by a cake called success! That just has to be awesome! Svartskog kolonial, et herlig sted med masse sjarm og god stemning. Her får du digg servering av både bakevarer og dagens. Knallbra ''vannhull'' på sykkelturen. Truls Langaard, Lokalmegleren & Partners Follo beautiful place, delicious coffee and great cake 😀 Place is really nice and cosy. The house is traditional and everything is kept in charming passé way. Cakes are very good. The choice of gluten free is not always available. Also it is not accessible to wheelchair even the outdoor area, and it didn't needs much to make the outdoor accessible so that is a bit a pity. Kosested, fantastiske vafler og bare god betjening af Cecilie og co. Nice service, coffe okayish, carrot cake ok but I wouldnt buy it again, and ridiculously expensive sandwich with brie which was not really that nice. The vibe was nice but I think the sandwich made me not like this place :( Alltid hyggelig på Svartskog Kolonial, gode bakevarer og god kaffe👍🏻 This is a nice place. I and a friend stopped by here on our way to a fishing trip. It has a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen serves various sandwiches, cakes and other dishes. Even it's nice and cosy place, I'm not sure I give it a high recommendation. This is entierly because I had to pay 20 kr for a little box of matches (had forgotten light to my primus). Taken in consideration we just had spend money on food do I find it a bit too expensive. Kjempe god bakst og vafler. Utrolig koselig kafé! Absolutely gorgeous hidden gem we discovered on our bike trip from Oslo today. We thought we wouldn’t be able to buy anything as we forgot our wallets, but turned out they took Vipps payment!! We had the carrot cake and lime cake - both seriously delicious. Loved the cappuccino and Americano too. Also a stunning outdoor sitting area and there’s were lots of other people enjoying themselves and the wonderful weather. We will be visiting again for future cycle trips!! Highly recommend! I also paid 20kr for a box of matches, i only wanted to light a cigarette but no one had a light so i had to buy the box if i wanted a smoke. Eight times more for box of matches here than in any other place of sale.
