My mother-in-law actually lived in Bottenstugan 75 years ago and it's incredible that it is still standing today. It felt like such a privilege to see the place. It sits now at the bottom of a trail that follows Bohus leden so it's a popular spot for hiking. We will definitely visit it again. Very beautiful nature reserve with toilets. The yellow hike is all up and down. Update 2022: Still beautiful. Some husbil owner should learn to stay quiet and acknowledge that it's a parking space and not a campground for caravans (etc). Det finns även flera vindskydd både vid bottenstugan och längs flera av lederna om man vill sova över eller laga mat. 3 good shelters to sleep in and a huge area for tents Tog en fika i ett vindskydd Beautiful old forests and many paths. Perfect for an easy to medium hike on a weekend. Mysigt i tyst natur Very beautiful and calm, lots of places available for barbeque and rest. Trails available from 2km and up, you can also combine trails for a long one. Would recommend Tranquil little campground along the Bohusleden. Two shelters, a well, free firewood, pit toilets. There's also a cabin which I believe can be rented. No running water and cell reception is poor at best. Bra vandringsleder i både olika längd och svårighetsgrad. The reason I put 3 stars is the cellphone signal，none！（mine is Telenor）Some times you don't want people to reach you，but you will still need to use the internet！ Excellent place for camping. There are shelters, which we used (not putting up the tent can be a delight after 2 weeks of cycle touring). It would have been 5 stars if there was running water.
