Disabled access is a bit hit and miss granted with toilets up stairs and access very steep slope to the venue. Staff can be a little hit and miss. Some are lovely and clearly love their job. Others sometimes behave like they have been grounded to the place for work by their own parents. A very place for a special in winter!!! But the coffee & same of the food are horrible plus a very bad customer service!! Again. Because this place is simply great. The was absolutely helpful and smoothly managed everything around our party. The food was generous and tasty. All the guest found something they liked. The soft-play part is excellent as well and very visible for the parents from almost everywhere, and most of all, it was perfectly cleaned. The kindness and attentiveness of the were above and beyond. Thank you! Don't bother, full of travellers, run the place and have no child care experience, go to monkey business instead. Manager jane was very welcoming We came here on a busy Sunday (arriving just before 12) and was told I might need to wait but I explained I booked online and they let me through. It was chaotic and didn't seem to have alot of in so the place was dirty and mobbed. The softplay itself is and the are but there are too many unsupervised with some climbing on the outside of slides and waiting inside of it. Our food took ages to come with no warning either which is a shame. Prices have gone up. Now £6.40 for every kid. Even under 4s and the under 4s area is tiny. The roof is leaking onto the under 4s area which makes the slide wet and there is rubbish everywhere so they obviously don't clean it very well. Food is horrible. Burger vans do a better job Always have a experience here .my grandaughter loves playing here and we never feel pressure to leave. food as well feel sorry for at times because some parents fail to watch their properly A bit pricey these days but for a rainy day. Pizza is pretty as well 😀 This is probably the best soft play I've taken the too. It's huge. Jane who was on the desk was really with the Excellent play centre for the kids. Much improved recently, much cleaner and better run. love the new stuff that's been added and will play for hours. Pizzas a really and cheap, can't think of anywhere else where a home made pizza is £9? for if you want the to wear themselves out. As a mom of a child with ASD I get nervous every I visit funplex, my experience last was fantastic for two of the names Ella and Amber, they have been extremely helpful with us and supported my son. Thanks to them. We enjoyed a fantastic laser at funplex this evening. Jane and her crew really made sure we were well looked after. They took care of the children, the adults, the timing, the food, the games... Everything! We brought our own decoration but Jane reassured us that she always has extra cake deco and can even offer themed parties. There were plenty of new lighting effects we hadn't seen before as we hadn't been for a while. The played in the dark, with disco lights and had the whole place to themselves. The place was very clean, the enjoyed their pizzas, the cut and wrapped the cake for us. I can definitely recommend funplex as a venue! Really filthy and not pleasant. Toilets inaccessible and stepped on wet patch on carpeted flooring. Food was not nice. Wont be coming back. Enjoyed there but in one tunnel stank of sick and could see it been poorly wiped up, next day daughters vomiting all night and now myself. Funny (or not funny) enough the uber driver on the way there said he stopped going because his kept getting sick. Safe to say I’m not going back I understand there are set frames, however I am sure bearing in mind the circumstances specially in a place for you can be benevolent and make small exceptions. We arrive 4 min past 5 due to a heavy traffic, 2 kids, no one else waiting to enter - actually people leaving- but the very kind manager couldn’t under no circumstance make an exception for 4 minutes, like if we were not paying the full price and compromised to leave at 6 like everyone else. I am sure making an exception when there was literally nobody else to enter was a life threatening situation, I thought as it was a business they would also bear also bear the positive. Thank you for a experience for 4 minutes coming from far away, will make sure to come again Came today for the first and was greeted with a very rude lady saying we can’t come in as she stopped people coming in at 4:30 when last admission Was stated 5pm on the sign outside. Other weren’t aware no one else could come in, we made a long journey to come to you and got turned away, we will not be returning. I visited the Funplex while on holiday with my grandchildren. The were friendly and very accommodating. We ordered food and drinks, which were delivered in a timely manner, warm and satisfactory. My grandchildren enjoyed the range of provisions, especially the slides and tunnels. My only recommendation would be to have a wider choice of set meals for adults on the menu. We'll done Funplex staff. We will be sure to visit again. Hired out for the evening for my daughters birthday. Jane and her were really accommodating, which made it completely stress free. We had to ask for some extras last minute and she was more than happy to help. Would definitely book again.
