Absolutely stunning and peaceful even with many visitors. There is a circular route bus to get here from Eastbourne and to return to Eastbourne. If you come from Eastbourne, it's the best to get the ticket in advance, otherwise, the bus can get crowded and it becomes difficult. The walk on the top is up and down very soft rolling hills and not particularly difficult. Came here a while ago now, long than stated on here, however not much has changed and the view is so amazing that more people should come here. The are breathtaking and you can see the sea for miles and miles. The way the sun glimmers off the water makes photos look exceptional. It really is a place to sit and ponder, though I am also aware that sadly it has a slightly depressing reputation for those who have struggled with their mental health. The lighthouse is shaded in dusk, so if you are looking for a nice shot would recommend to come in the morning from eastbourne.
