Bowling is good, nice and small which is when you have a sen child. is nice and clean and warm (well warmer than some) the only things letting them down are the changing room, these smell strong of urine and look like they only get cleaned once a week. The rarely answer the phone which is needed to book bowling. The leisure centre is definitely lacking. The area is lately far too hot, it is uncomfortably warm to stay sat in there, it is not kept clean enough and it is difficult to see what work has been done there during the recent closures as upon looking upwards it looks very tired. There isn’t enough seating either. The other areas of the leisure centre are ok, the cafe is clean enough with a decent selection of food and the soft play is great for preschool aged children. The bowling alley is fun and well maintained. The parking area is but in the winter the lighting is bad with some lights that’ve been out for months making it quite dangerous for pedestrians. If that was resolved and the and changing areas were properly renovated and the temperature turned down it’d be great. Sadly when you speak to the about anything though, you just get a bit of a shrug and feel like they couldn’t really care less, which is disappointing. The male are very up themselves, too young to be around half naked girls as they spend 70% of the time leching over them. I felt uncomfortable seeing the predatory staring. Pervy vibe put me off. Nice environment with well maintained facilities as well as a lovely cafe. size with wardens and lovely sauna. Recently refurbished and looks nice. The only negative is that the is mostly very cold. This does seem to be improving though recently so fingers crossed. Called these guys to use their sauna, and gym, they said just turn up so I did. I drove an hour just to be told their sauna and is at full capacity, just to find out they let six people in to the sauna and while we were waiting in the gym. Don’t recommend this place bad customer service and very miss leading Took my 5 month old at the weekend. Overall it was a experience, the only thing that let it down was the changing rooms. The floor needed a clean in the family changing area. I spoke to a member of but I felt like I was ignored. Swimming was clean and water was a nice temperature Great facility! Lifeguards are pleasant. Gym is great too. Blonde female lifeguards always seems to be cleaning something which is too see. I would definitely recommend! Had a great day out with the kids! Even though it was busy during the holidays the have been welcoming and friendly! When we were in the pool, we had so much fun and felt safe with the staff, which was so lovely! Theres one guy who was was lovely when needed help with the lockers can’t remember his name. But overall a nice fun day!
