Gorgeous place; a pebble with a well-made walkway that ends near the harbour inlet. Early July we found some beautiful flowing plans, growing quite happily between the stones. Beautiful. Beautiful with a to the fort, nice view of south downs and can see a lighthouse too. Bit windy as not much barroer, worth it 👍 Great breeze. Gorgeous views and a small smattering of places to enjoy food and drink. Right off the road across the footbridge and right to the channel. Shoreham by Sea is a wonderful little town with great views and easily accessible by bus and train. Lovely shingle beach. Beautiful side There are many preditors on this in the form of dogs. I was hoping to see some alien type preditors but my mate rekons I misunderstood the review of one of the other beaches in that they meant sort of dodgy people on the beach. Like the other beaches in the area, not a lot of sand, hardly any sun and very cold sea. I would not go swimming here uness you have a wetsuit. Had a around the Fort (car parking is free from 6pm) all the way down the boardwalk, to huts, on the beach.. then stopped on a bridge bit with a play park on the way back to watch some trains, the photos don't do the sunset justice.. very calm and pretty in the light. Swans were out with their babies too 😍 It’s a beach. So I gotta give it 5 stars. It’s nice and clean unlike a lot of Brighton beaches. Lovely in the summer. I went here Sunday when the tide was going out. Nice day out when it’s warm. It’s also not as insanely busy as Brighton beaches A brilliant walk, or run or exercise the dogs. Park near to Wide Water, Shoreham and head towards the harbour. Your find a Resin board on the beach. At the harbour their is an old fort dated 1847 and a memorial 1st world war one trench - learning center. Plenty of dog waste and rubbish bins along the route. Regardless of the weather a beautiful calming walk. A short division towards Shoreham foot bridge and there are cafés, bakery's, pubs and shops. Nice place to visit Beautiful, beautiful place. Such a nice area, never too busy. Great place to run the doggos. It is a stoney but its much nicer compared to other beaches nearby. The sea is so blue and it is just so lovely! Will go back in a heart beat During Covid 19 I have been good following Government rules strictly. I stayed at home for 5 months. When the weather turned 23 degrees I could not resist going to the beach. Went to Shoreham hoping it will not be crowded. At Shoreham I felt safe. There was good social distancing but not everyone was wearing a mask. Children and adults were enjoying in the water. Some were kayaking, some were surfing, whilst others were relaxing. Two musketeers were hiding from the sun! Enjoyed fish and chips at the which always tastes better than fish and chips in the city. Had a lovely day out. A worth visiting. Not crowded, clean, safe and easy to park. For a small town it seems to have almost everything. A great place to go to relax. You can for miles along the footpath right by the sea or wander over the footbridge across the River Adur into the thriving town with many cafes, pubs and interesting little shops, and there's the Ropetackle Arts Centre that has something entertaining on most evenings. What's not to like. I’m lucky to live within a few minutes from Shoreham Beach. It has an old-world charm about the long stretch of beach, with a variety of vegetation sprouting from the pebbles that changes with the seasons. And then there’s the sea. And then there’s the sunrises. And then there’s the sunsets. It’s a special place.
