There is a really waterfall at the end of this trail. The has two paths, left and right looking upstream. Left is hard. Right is easy. Car parking a plenty. Great walks but not suitable for smallies unless well controlled, as there are many steep unbarriered areas Lovely Gorgeous along the deep glen. 30min option and 1hr option. Boots necessary as uneven terrain and at times Choice of 2km or 4km walks through forest. Some boggy sections where hiking boots are needed in winter. Great views of the river and waterfalls. Lovely walk. Can enter at the left hand side bring you closer to river, can be slippery and it an non improved trail. Plenty of mud. The Right hand side is an improved trail, clean and easier walk. It's a so can have to best of both. Very around the river and many waterfalls. 2 options short and longer, both are very easy. Bring your camera with you, many scenic spots. Large car park and picnic area. Good place for even Sunday afternoon walk. Fantastic Experience Seems like a really area to go for a stroll, as I was short for time I didn’t get to far but was pleasantly surprised by what I did get to take in. Easy parking with beautiful scenery along the walk. Rough footwear is required if rain has fallen. The at you ease would be about an hour. Kids and dogs can definitely be brought here. The shorter path was a walk, cool climate overall. It is great when it’s sunny, like feeling after entering the loop. Hiking shoes is a must as i slipped few times without them. I would recommend going clockwise. The was covered by branches on the left side of the while going in between and is muddy. There are some logs added which helps in the rain. The way back of the (right side) is nice, no obstacles as such, they even have seatings there and not muddy. Overall good experience with the loop. It’s short and good for a with small hike. The park is good for children, has swings and benches for family to eat . The other side of the loop, across the road, there’s small which is good for taking children. The place looks clean and well maintained. Great place to go to get back to nature. day out. Would highly recommend and I'm definitely going again. Very place Amazing for Sunday with family Must visit place in Ireland and really a great place for everyone to spend your time with nature. Wooded area along with the bank of Clare rivers. The scenery is breathtaking, with wild dense combined with the calm rushing of the crystal clear waters. Have a small park and picnic area at the entrance to enjoy the sunny day. Have an excellent car parking facility at the place. This is perfect for families with young children or those looking for a short stroll through breathtaking scenery!!🥰 Crystal clear waters of Clare river flow through dense in a red sandstone gorge to create a truly beautiful setting. The numerous waterfalls which flow through the sandstone also help to make this incredibly picturesque. Located close to the border of Co Tipperary and Co Limerick. If you hire a taxi for your travel, its cost around 45 to 50€ to go to Clare Glen's from Limerick City Center. There are several narrow paths that lead down to the banks of the river, but they are steep and with slippery rocks and tree roots. I would not have attempted it without boots, gaiters and trekking poles. It was worth the exertion to get up close to the cascades and watch the water surging over the cliffs into quiet plunge pools before tumbling on again to the next drop. It was possible to make out the ghost of a path running along the bank. Absolutely gorgeous and suitable from toddler age! We took the shorter as we had 2 toddlers with us but will definitely be returning to do the longer one! Stunning 👍🏻 Piękne miejsce na spacer Great place for a walk, the sound of the waterfall is very relaxing. Clare Glens is an absolute paradise for people that are nature lovers The moment you step onto the trails, you’re surrounded by lush forest, rushing waterfalls, and the kind of fresh air that instantly recharges your soul. Only thing is definitely bring runners you don’t care about or boots as it does get muddy Other than that I loved it and will be going back! A fantastic fairytale like woodland walk. The goingby the rocks near the bottom is way more fun than the actual easy above but the rocks down there can be slippery. Well worth a visit as part of a countryside day trip. Would go there early or late in the day to get less of sunlight burning out the photos Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
