A small Japanese take-away spot with very limited seating, which makes sense since it’s more of a grab-and-go place. Probably one of the few restaurants in the area open for dinner, so it was busy - full house with people waiting for tables and take-away orders. The food did take a while to arrive due to the high volume of orders. We tried two different ramens - ingredients were fresh and portions were decent. Personally, I didn’t quite take to the overall taste, as it didn’t feel like the authentic Japanese ramen I’m used to. That said, it’s still an okay spot for a warm, filling meal if you’re nearby and needed a warm meal. Best food in Voss. kombi was so fresh and the ramen noodle was great! Not many seating. Better for take out. Great little place in Voss. Very small setting (only 3-4 tables), so more of a takeaway place, but the was fresh and clean. The sashimi and pork katsu sando were my favorites. And be sure to grab a Vossapils local beer. 👏 Visiting from Vancouver, BC Canada where there is a lot of amazing restaurants. I’ve had a lot of and this was hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. The rolls are unique with exceptional flavor profile. I highly recommend them. Very friendly staff and delightful owner whose passion for food shows. We had the Crispy Ebi, Yuzu Hamachi (my favorite), Spicy Tuna, and Vossa Salmon rolls 😋 My wife and I were exploring Voss, when walking down the street, we caught the smell of something delicious. We took note of the name and continued exploring. After a while we realized we were hungry and looked up Vossa to find it had great reviews. And we hadn’t had good in a while, were eager to find out if it tasted as good as it smelled. As we entered the cozy little area, with no more than 3 tables, we were greeted by a very friendly man. As he told us how to get the menu in English, and other small talk, we discovered this pleasant person was the owner. We spoke for a while, getting his personal recommendations, ended up ordering a variety of different rolls. Each roll was different and offered many different flavors. Each roll had very different and unique flavors with intriguing ingredients. And my wife and I agreed this was some of the most delicious we’ve had in a long time. If you’re ever in Voss I would suggest checking out Vossa Sushi. And I hope you enjoy it as much as did! The food here it’s great, extremely fresh and tasty, service, attention and location are just amazing. We have enjoyed a couple meals here during our instance at Voss, would recommend this place to anyone. It was the best that i have in years. The fish was super fresh and the combination of flavours marvellous. Cheers to the portuguese chef’s that explain all of the roles in a very friendly way.
