Beautiful waterfall. The last in a series of 3 falls of the stream Margorabbia. The 1st fall flows out of the rock after the river flows underground from Orrido di Cunardo Nach den Sommerferien war hier unter der Woche an einem Freitag nichts los. An hier gut ausgeschildert. After the summer holidays, there was nothing going on here on a Friday during the week. Great nature, impressive waterfalls with an adventurous character. You can get to the directly across the ford with dry feet. There are several steel steps and a steep 150 m path to the big waterfall. This is doable even for inexperienced hikers. Sturdy shoes are a must, as the path leads down over stone paths and roots. It is really worth visiting the Cascada. One point deducted for the directions to the waterfalls. I will make up for that here. From the lower car park, walk up the main road 200 m into the town. When you see the sign for the church (Chiesa), turn left. Walk to the church. Walk right past the church and then turn left. Well signposted here. Walk down from the upper car park, walk right towards the church and turn right in front of the church. There is also a sign for the Cascada. PS: Take your rubbish with you! At the beginning of the path there are rubbish bins, where you can even separate your rubbish. This is not the high, but the wide waterfall. Please seek the high one 200 meters further :) Superb place to spend a moment before and after a hike Water is fresh There's obviously more people in the afternoon but a place to see Very beautiful place but path for bigger was quite hard. Cannot recommend for small children because metal stairs are steep. It was difficult to find because our GPS kept taking us to the wrong place. We accidentally found it after parking in the town and walking up the hill, we just happened to see the sign. The is absolutely beautiful and worth the trip! Spectacular waterfalls. Park at the bar or the sports pitch, go down the path behind the school. Head upstream for the smaller waterfall. Great spot to play in the stream or swim below the falls though the rocks can be uncomfortable to walk on. Head further downstream and follow a small trail down past the large waterfall, and then down about 100 steps to reach the biggest waterfall. Hold small kids by the hand, but in general very doable. Where is it? 😅 I arrive in the car park where the map is pointing but there are no signs. I hear a water flowing and I've been searching around for a way down 🤣 Great attraction with tranquil vibes. Awesome spot to picnic, hike, walk with family or your love ❤️. For a half day trip, it is definitely worth visiting and there is a delicious restaurant nearby (if you prefer, you can always bring a packed lunch). The itself would deserve 5 stars. But what took away from the magic was the sheer amount of people there and all the traces they left behind. Not enough appreciate the beauty of this place and the fact that it's very easy to access. Some people use it as a personal garbage dump, and it's heartbreaking. The place has a secret though, but I won't give it away. It's for the curious to earn when they go there. 😏 Man muss fast 100m Treppen runter .tolle Lage Non male, torneremo sicuramente in un periodo più caldo. Lovely nature activity. Beautiful surroundings, nice for swimming and a day at the lake. In dry season the may be smaller/lighter but still nice to see ❤️🥰 A very beautiful and a beautiful environment. This is very easy to reach.I have seen a big in the place as well as a small in a separate place.
